Apparently the Pseudo-Legendary—sorry, Powerhouse Pokemon outbreaks in Scarlet and Violet ended yesterday, assuming you're one of those people who always connects to the Poke Portal daily. Hope everyone managed to find the shinies they wanted!

...Some are certainly more agreeable than others, as Red found out.

(Not pictured: the heavily-bandaged aftermath after he ran into a snowbank and was subsequently in Shadow Claw distance. Don't worry, he's recovered by now.)

Been playing Cassette Beasts for the past 2 weeks alongside two of my friends—one of them tried it out on Nintendo Switch Game Trials and enjoyed it, convincing me and friend #2 (AKA @kat-the-meme-dealer) to buy it on Steam. And the both of us have enjoyed it, too! While I lagged a bit behind them for a while, all three of us have gotten to the endgame already. Which I think I'll need to grind for... Above is the first bootleg I got in-game, a Carniviper—it's Air-type instead of Poison-type! Got it on my first day playing, before either of my friends found a wild bootleg at that. Below's the screenshot I took when I encountered it in-game:

It's currently a Mardiusa tape—creatively nicknamed Aeridusa—and no matter what, I plan on having it in my endgame party.
My condolences to every artist who wanted their OC to have a really cool complicated-looking gun right up until the first time they attempted a pose that would require it to be drawn at a slight angle.
Me too! At least with cube-ish objects you can make easy guide lines, but when it comes to characters or natural backgrounds it's a hassle for me.
I fucking HATE perspective 😭😭😭😭
You know, I've been on here a while, and I'm not quite sure how this'll go down, but I'm curious:
(If you pick "Other," make sure to specify which one of mine you like, in either a reblog or a comment!)
A summary of (the first half of) yesterday's Cassette Beasts session with me and my friends:

![Panel 5: David is now accompanied by Barkley this time, holding up a cassette player towards a frustrated Glaistain—the only naturally Glass-type beast in New Wirral. The device lets out a checkmark ping as David says "Oh hey! I may have failed with the bootlegs, but now I've captured the one legit Glass-type without trading with my friends—"
Panel 6: A black screen, reading:
[GAME CRASHED Due to crimes against Glass bootlegs. Also, autosave didn't activate in time, so you didn't record me. See ya! -Glaistain]
In the corner, a tiny David raises a hand to the sky in frustration, yelling "DANG IT!"](https://64.media.tumblr.com/dce15ddbe51f677f0071b6573be159ab/c481e4637cb6a05c-16/s500x750/ff3479e3cd35cbfc1574961c5e266569f126af67.png)
Don't worry, I did eventually get a Glass-type bootleg. It was a Masquerattle, the less-fun snake, but you have to take what you can get.
