As bad as I feel for drawing Lance getting nailed in the face, I couldn’t pass on this opportunity.

Floserans have similar traditions as Balmerans, when you take something, you must give something back — which is normally Quintessence. In this case, Lance does one small wrong move of not performing the said ritual which is why Rosabell flipped shit. Otherwise they would’ve accepted the flower, but that was the only thing they would accept.

Anyways Lance has learned from that day to read up in alien traditions before flirting with one.

That’s right! We’re taking a whole week to celebrate you and your Paladinsonas!

What’s a paladinsona? Take one part You and one part Voltron Paladin, mix ‘em together and throw them in the oven at 300 for 20 minutes and bam! You’ve got your paladinsona, human, alien, anything! As long as it represents you, and your role on the Voltron team, then it counts!

For one week, we’ll be celebrating the warmth and fun of a community that embraces OCs and self-inserts with daily art/writing prompts and an end of the week event that everyone can contribute to!

                                                    Prompts!

Day 1. (19th): Introductions. Show us your paladinsona! Who are they? What are they? What role do they fill on the Voltron team!

Day 2. (20th): Bayard. “The bayard is the traditional weapon of the paladins of Voltron. It takes a distinct shape for each paladin.” So, what does your paladinsona’s bayard look like? How do they wield it?

Day 3. (21st): Team Bonding. How does your paladinsona interact with other paladins? How well do they get along with others on a team environment? Feel free to include other paladinsonas!

Day 4. (22nd): Colour Squad. Are there any other paladinsonas of the same colour that you think yours would get along with? Show us some good #squad moments with some matching colour buddies.

Day 5. (23rd): Battlefield. We all know paladins fight to protect the universe. How does your paladinsona take to being in the heat of battle? Have they ever been injured?

Day 6. (24th): Downtime. Everyone needs a break sometimes. What sort of recreational activities does your paladinsona engage in when they need some ‘me’ time?

Day 7. (25th): Free Day. This is a day where you can show us whatever you’d like about your paladinsona. Have fun, go wild!

Note that these are just suggestions and you can do whatever you like to celebrate!

Any time during the week, if you’re so inclined, you can feel free to post a full body picture of your paladinsona with a transparent bg and @ectochoir in it. At the end of the week, I’ll be taking all the images I receive and grouping them together into some fun group shots to post on Sept. 26th, the last day of Paladinsona Week. Colour groups, maybe even making some teams, but there will most definitely be a big group collab piece with everyone who posts one! (Note that sharing your ‘sona’s height is a great help for me in putting it together!)

hc: everyone can handle spicy food, the only one who has a slightly lower limit is hunk

but plot twist, allura and coran get really excited when they get to a planet where this one fruit grows and apparently it’s supposed to be the hottest fruit in the galaxy known to melt the tongues off even the toughest of aliens

the paladins try it and…..it’s ok?

it’s not as bad as they said it would be, even hunk is like “are you sure this isn’t a bell pepper?”

but when allura and coran try it cause they think maybe they’re wrong, they run crying to the lavatories, fire basically coming out of their mouths and they’re like “what’s WRONG with you?! how can you eat this like berries!?”

and they look at each other and are like “wasabi”

Day 3: Team Bonding

“Oh come on Rosy, my flower girl, having a portable personal garden is pretty sick.”

“Give me my clothes or I will give you a personal taste of my portable garden’s tea. It’s got a killer taste.”

Well, Rosabell gets along more or less fine with the others, but Ya-yang ( @y-annah ’s Paladinsona ). The Blue Paladin just loves getting on their nerves. Well maybe they doesn’t actually mean to, but Ya-yang is really really loud. So they are the reason why their thorns sprout other than in battle.

The one thing they won’t admit is that they like working with Ya-yang, when they’re not being obnoxious.

“But you’re sure you don’t want to talk about it? I’m a good listener.”

“Maybe after another cup of tea?”

“Sure thing, Anloki.”

On their home planet, Rosabell was known for their unique calming tea. They make it often for their worrywart leader, Anloki ( @bearoflimes ’s Paladinsona), and only sometimes will he talk to them about his worries. If not, they like to keep their leader company. The one thing they loves the most about Anloki is that he respects their need for silence, so sometimes they just sit back-to-back for hours without a word. Just enjoying each other’s presence.

   I can’t draw all my Shiro and Keith adopted brothers au out so I’m just putting some of my super self-indulgent headcanons/ ideas here. Also a reminder in case I do draw some of these out

When they were kids Keith got into space because Shiro read him his textbooks about piloting stuff™ like bedtime stories. Soon he starts collecting a hoard of any text related to space (like NASA newspaper clippings) under his bed

Shiro bullied Keith a lot growing up but was forgiven everytime by making Keith laugh. (He’d usually do thing where you pull the back of your shirt over your head to make yourself look like jay jay the jet plane)

They used to pretend to have gunbattles but stopped when they got too into it and Keith mcfreaking hit his head on a table trying to dodge

Shiro always buys Keith those freaky looking spongebob popsicles to cheer him up, even when Keith is a teenager

They both had the asain melon bowlcut ™ but only Shiro has photographic evidence

The first time Keith beat Shiro at mario kart he was 10 and Shiro cried

At the Garrison Keith didn’t like talking about how they lost their parents and if you tried asking Shiro the story changed everytime

Shiro’s “dad vibe” and skills come from practically raising Keith on his own and both of them secretly hate the fact that he’s more of a dad than a big brother now

Shiro keeps a huge photo album by his bed back at the Garrison that’s just full of pictures of Keith as a kid that he hopes to show off to to Keith’s husband one day (if not, then it’s just good blackmail material)

Shiro got the red jacket and fingerless gloves for Keith’s birthday because they “made him look like a pokemon ranger” and Keith shoves it into the back of his closet but starts wearing them daily when his brother goes missing

Keith got kicked out because he did what Pidge did and he punched the shit out of Iverson for lying about what happened to his bro 

The reason Shiro was staring blankly at the sun outside the shack in episode 1 was because in the year he was gone his little brother got kicked out of school, became a hobo, and started living in a shack in the desert and he was contemplating where he went wrong in his psuedo parenting

Keith tries to threaten his big bro by saying he’ll tell the other paladins what a bully he was to him as a kid and Shiro just laughs “They’ll never believe you.”

The other paladins just thought they were oddly close and don’t realize they’re brothers until one day Keith does something stupid again and Shiro’s yelling “Keith Kogane Shirogane, if you don’t knock that shit off-” and everyone’s like ??????? what??? and then the brothers are like “oh wait they don’t know oops”

The bros thrive off of teasing the other about their crushes. At the castle ship Shiro won’t stop pretending to swoon dramatically with a hand on his chest and say “I cradled you in my arms, Lance. We bonded!” when they have alone time and Keith slowly dies every time he brings it up.
