Being accepting of people's identities HAS to include their religions. That doesn't mean ignoring that aspect of them, either. People should celebrate what they are. Removing someone's spiritual or religious views from that is inconsistent at best and incredibly violent at worst. Often both.

Whenever I see a queer invalidate another queer's relationship with god, I just get disappointed. "We need more complex queers!" You can't even handle religious queer people.
