I can best describe West of Dead as an isometric cover-based twin-stick shooter roguelike. I think I first heard about it not too long after Darksiders Genesis first came out. Overall, I’d say the game is pretty fun, though quite tough.

Here’s how the Steam page would describe the game.

Descend into the grim and gritty world of Purgatory in this cover-based shooter which combines the fluidity of twin-stick controls and tactical cover usage. Dodge behind cover as you try to outgun your enemies in the unknown procedurally generated hunting grounds.
