Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse - Tumblr Posts
So...you know what I think could be cool to see?
A Darksiders RPG. I know there is already a table-top RPG, and that the games have RPG elements, but I mean something like Battle Chasers: Nightwar or Ruined King. Where it's got multiple characters teaming up for a grand tale.
You could have it be the Horsemen teamed up by the Charred Council for a mission, or have it be one or two of them teamed up with say like a Maker, an Angel, a Demon, and someone else and go from there.
Or another cool thing that I think could work is Darksiders characters crossing over into other games. Like I could see War in Brawlhalla. Just have him as a skin for the character that got Hellboy as a skin. Or this idea I saw someone posit somewhere just for fun. One of the Horsemen being a guest fighter in a fighting game, like maybe Mortal Kombat. Or it could be cool for a Darksiders character to be a guest fighter in Riot Games' Project L. I think Joe Mad is not fully connected to the Darksiders series like he was with the first two games, but it could be cool to see if him and Riot could get War as a guest fighter, especially since Liam O'Brien voices both him and Yasuo from League of Legends.
I'm just spitballing random ideas now. Got any idea? Want to share them? Go right ahead.
Been having a whole lot of fun playing Ruined King! I'm somewhere after Thresh was first introduced into the narrative, and let me just say, in Joe Mad's art style the guy looks a whole lot more like Death than he already kind of does.
Just the idea of those two fighting is interesting. The Pale Rider vs the Chain Warden. Which would come out on top?
Related to that: I have had a League of Legends/Darksiders crossover ideas on the brain lately. Even wrote two already and posted them on Ao3. Now I just might continue that Battle Chasers/League of Legends crossover story and throw Darksiders in for the fun of it. I could probably make something really fun out of it. Fun to write, and hopefully fun for others to read.
Here is one of the League of Legends/Darksiders fics I created. This one having to do with War and Strife going to The Last Drop from Arcane.
Had fun writing this one, even if it took some time to find my groove with it at first
Now, onto the summary:
The Last Drop was just somewhere to quickly get some food and drink. Neither War nor Strife knew if would become one of their favorite places to be in their free time. Just somewhere they could chill out. New friends abound, and many tales to tell the people who do not know of the Horsemen or the Apocalypse.
Ok so I’ve thought of a concept for the Horsemen’s ultimate forms. What if they all had a sort of in-between form? It’s obvious bit as strong as their full ultimate forms but definitely gives them each a power boost. Like the forms are a mixture of the horsemen’s individual ultimate forms and horsemen forms, also it would be criminal if they became a tad more primal with little filter as what’s going on in their heads. Like for example Death protecting his human or siblings and their like “Wow Death, didn’t know you cared that much lol” and Death with no hesitation responds “Yes of course I do I’d literally tear realms apart if anything even scratches you”
Idk just a resent idea that came to my head
I have had similar thoughts to something like this, off and on. However, for me, it's more like; 'What if there's an ultimate form, where all four of the horsemen combine into one?'
I haven't worked out the details(yet), but it's this Godzilla sized creature that takes several appearances from all of the four, with Death's reaper form being the most prominent feature(because he IS Death after all). And this form has never before been seen or done. Until a great big decisive battle occurs, like against the Council or Lucifer.
In short, think Obsidian from Steven Universe. In concept I mean.
So it’s finally starting to snow where I am and for the past week I’ve had this recurring thought in my head. What if the horsemen where in a snowball fight, like their human friends introduced it to them and out of nowhere someone threw a snowball at one of them and all hell broke lose.

Picture it. A crisp winter day. The sky colored in different shades of gray. Pure white snow completely blankets a hibernating forest. All is calm and quiet. Despite the cold, it is peaceful. Tranquil even.
Until....
"SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!"
No one knew who threw the first snowball. And at this point no one really cared. For four of the most feared warriors in existence had been split into two teams of two to pelt the other with frozen puffs of water.
Using the surrounding area to build sturdy forts of combat, the once quiet atmosphere turns into a battlefield of skill and endurance.
Battle cries can be heard for miles on end, but also the unmistakable sounds of laughter, from all of them.
Those closest to the Horsemen could easily feel that this is the first time this broken yet close nit family had any sort of fun in a very long time. One that's long overdue.
So... anybody in the Darksiders fandom remember Bakugan? You know, the toy marbles that explode into monsters?
I had this fun idea of a Darksiders/Bakugan crossover where the Horsemen's super forms are the Bakugan while their humanoid forms are the Brawlers. I don't know why but I just think it would be a fun crossover.
As for what Attribute each Horseman would specialize in? I think War would be a Pyrus, Death be a Ventus, Fury be a Haos, and Strife be a Darkus. Some may be asking why Death would be a Ventus and it mostly has to do with the color green. Death may be primarily associated with purple but he's also got association with green. Also, I wanted each Horseman to be their Attribute instead of sharing one.

At long last, I finally finished these! These games have been an utter plague upon me this year and frankly have given me an itch for fanart that wasn't really there before lol Incredibly happy with how these all turned out, the months spent making these happen were well worth it I think :]

Darksiderstober Day 11: Portals
Trying to catch up due to my busy schedule, here is some dumb shenanigans ft. The dynamic Duo. War thinks Strife is just misusing his portal ability, he is not amused to be the butt end of the joke...Strife believes otherwise. Hope ya like and stay tuned!

Thinking of that Bakugan/Darksiders crossover idea again. Mostly I'm trying to think of what the names would be. Also, for the super forms as partner Bakugan part, I'm going to so my best to go with actual Bakugan, just altered a bit to fit with the Horsemen.
Death reasonably can't be named "Death" unless it's like a nickname. Maybe it could be because his partner Bakugan would obviously be Reaper. Yeah, there is a Bakugan just named Reaper, look it up. Dean comes to mind but if I write something, maybe I'll just stick with the "Death as a nickname" idea.
War is a bit easier. Normal War could just be named Warren, while Chaos Form as the partner Bakugan could be something like "Chaos Leonidas" I guess.
For Strife, the name Stefan comes to mind for whatever reason. His partner Bakugan could be something like "Anarchy Vladitor." Guess I have the old Battle Brawlers video game also on the brain. Fits though.
And now, Fury. Human name: Faora. That was almost too easy. Partner Bakugan: I'm thinking Fear Ripper. Sure, that Bakugan doesn't exactly have a voice, as far as I remember, but just look at the guy! Definitely looks like someone for Fury to have as a partner Bakugan!
And for a bonus: Envy, with the other Sins as her Bakugan. It's fitting, considering Envy becomes the final boss after essentially stealing her trapped siblings and their power by extension. Gluttony could be an Aquas type, while Wrath is a Pyrus type. Pride could be a Haos type, while maybe Lust or Avarice could be Darkus or Ventus. That leaves Sloth as Subterra, which feels somewhat fitting.
Since I wrote Darksiders/League of Legends crossovers featuring Death, War, and Strife, so figured I might as well make one featuring Fury. And the one LoL character for her to interact with that came to mind was Pantheon. Why not?
It would be set after Ds3, Fury and the group of humans she is now acting as protector of ending up on Runeterra. Just noticed a lot of my LoL crossovers feature characters ending up on Runeterra. A LOT.
Anyways! Here it is! The first couple paragraphs of "Unbreakable Spear of Humanity."
Through the portal as the Destroyer descended upon the Maker’s Tree Fury went. To where she would soon find out, alongside the rest of Humanity.
They would all appear soon nearest a grand mountain somewhere very Earth-like, filled to the brim with magic. Magic was everywhere on Earth, but wherever they were was bursting with it. In the distance was a great battle, many colors clashing together. Using her magic, Fury saw closer, seeing a battle between essentially powerful people. She could tell whoever was battling were human, maybe even superhuman.
Deciding that they needed to get moving, it was just a matter of up or down the mountain. Upwards looked promising but so did downwards. Treacherous either way as well. Knowing she needed to make a decision, downwards it was. Fury had climbed up and down many mountains, and so it seemed many of the humans alongside her did as well. Guess the premature apocalypse was just what got them all to start learning.
Making it the bottom by nightfall, all set up camp. It was as all of them were getting ready to sleep that something fell from the sky. NO, not something. Someone. Expecting potentially one of her brothers, Fury would see someone unfamiliar. He seemed dressed like a Greek warrior, carrying a golden shield, pulling a golden spear out of the ground. Getting up to stand at his full height, the man walked out of the crater, surprised to see a human camp. Not just the camp, but the camp’s protector as well. Fury took a battle-ready stance, unsure of whether he would be friend or foe.
In turn, the man took his own battle-ready stance. He was only returning the gesture, unsure of if Humanity’s protector was just that. Fury had learned much over her journey on Earth, and part of that was when to fight and when to talk. Moving her hand away from her whip, the female Horseman would put her hands up placatingly
“Easy. I mean you no harm.” Fury said, doing her best to sound unthreatening.
“That may be but I trust no gods.” replied the man, him having already sensed that Fury is anything but human.
“I am no god. I am Fury, and I am taking on the role of Humanity’s protector.” responded Fury.
“Hrmm. Why?”
“Someone has to.”
The man was silent at that, contemplating her words. Determining if he believed them or not. He slammed the tip of his spear into the ground, he would pull his helmet off, revealing the face of a handsome man, he would then hang his helmet on the butt of his spear and take a seat. If he wanted to determine if Fury’s words were true or not, what better way than to take up residence in the camp itself.
You know, I'm almost surprised that there isn't more fandom crossover between League of Legends and Darksiders, especially since they share at least two voice actors. Liam O'Brien is Yasuo in LoL and War in Darksiders. JB Blanc is Braum in Lol, Vander in Arcane, and Ulthane, Thane, and Valus in Darksiders. I know most people don't really pay attention to VAs, but I'm pretty sure there are people that have wanted to see the VAs other works.
I know I personally wrote a fanfic where War and Strife visit The Last Drop and meet Vander, I wrote Death fighting Thresh, I'm working on Fury meeting Pantheon, and I've thought about the Death visiting Ionia, and I currently got somewhat started on Karn, one of the makers, accidentally ending up in the Freljord and meeting Nunu & Willump, at least a first paragraph to go from for it at a later point. He kinda went through one of the portals at the Tree of Life & Death and just ended up there randomly.
I've also thought about the idea of War meeting Ahri, maybe he's investigating the Shadow Isles as Ahri is there in the Vault of Vesani researching her people. Or maybe just War being there during the whole plot of Ruined King, but he's just chilling in the background, watching the whole thing, believing the group can beat Viego.
I've also considered maybe the Horsemen in the past encountering Kayle and Morgana, maybe Fury specifically meeting the Twins half-Aspects of Justice. I've also thought about maybe the LoL characters somehow ending up on the shattered Earth, maybe helping Humanity in the Endwar. At least Morgana would be on the side of Humanity while her sister is on the side of Heaven.
I'm having fun with these ideas so I may just get semi-started on some of these and maybe post them at some point.
Imagine...
...each Horseman forging a distinct bond to the ancient cultures of vanished civilisations through their unique hobbies.
Death nurtures a garden with plants from realms long forgotten, known and unknown, embodying his deeper role as a guardian of life despite his duty as its harbinger.
War dedicates himself to preserving the lost martial arts of these vanished worlds, practicing under the moonlight to keep their legacies alive.
Strife revives the echoes of ancient worlds through their music and…
…Fury expresses their stories and emotions through the fluid movements of ceremonial dance, honouring the memory of worlds that once were.
Now imagine them uniting their unique gifts.
Strife's ancient melodies and Fury's ceremonial dance rekindle the spirits of lost worlds.
Their performance, enriched by War's demonstration of forgotten martial arts, becomes a powerful narrative of preservation.
Along this collective expression, Death's garden, flourishing with plants from these realms, becomes a living museum, a silent but vibrant tribute to the histories they honour.
Their shared endeavour not only fortifies their unity as siblings, but also cements their role as "Custodians of History", ensuring the vibrancy of extinct cultures is forever remembered and revered.
I really like this song, especially the chorus. Sometimes when I listen to it I like to imagine scenarios with Darksiders characters.
"Would you sell out your brother to save your own life?" That line definitely sounds like something someone would ask one of the Horsemen about each others, at least in my opinion.
And yeah, that's all I can think of right now, might add more to this later.
A while back I posited the idea of Darksiders crossovers into other games, and it just struck me that I did not mention a game that I could totally see the Darksiders characters as character skins in.
SMITE.
Death: At first thought it's obvious who Death could be a skin for Thanatos. I will posit another idea however... Set. Both Death and Set got the acrobatic combat with a staff or scythe, and some of Set's abilities are similar to what Death can do.
Strife: I'm thinking Apollo, just instead of finger guns it's actual guns. Or maybe Loki, considering Strife is the more mischievous of the Four Horsemen and has more Trickster like abilities in Darksiders Genesis.
War: I guess maybe Ares or Tyr, whichever works a bit better. I'm leaning more towards Tyr since what I remember of game play it looks like stuff War can do.
Fury: the only one that comes to mind is Bastet, since I'm pretty sure both use whips as weapons. Or maybe as a skin for Sol, considering Fury's Flame Hollow. Or maybe even Hel.
Azrael: maybe Charon, I don't know, I'd have to look through the list of Gods for SMITE. Or maybe as a skin for Chronos?
Samael: Chernobog comes to mind first, along with maybe Surtr or Thor.
Uriel: that's kinda easy... Bellona. Or maybe Nike or Nemesis
Abbadon: Odin might work?
Ulthane: who else but Vulcan? Dude fits as a skin for Vulcan pretty well if I say so myself. Also could probably work as an Ymir skin, I think.
It was as the Pale Rider lay in the cold of his bedroom that he wished the tiredness from the many days long journey he had just endured had no finally caught up to him. For when he dreamed, it was always the same thing. A duo that meant the end.
Falling into the realm of unconsciousness, Death felt air rushing past him, then a sudden stop of hitting something solid. Pulling himself up, all the Grim Reaper saw a blue light in the darkness before, it eventually coalescing into the two people before him.
"Kindred." Death growled, angry to see the Lamb and the Wolf again.
"Kinslayer." Lamb replied, voice monotone.
"Do not mock me. I have had enough for the last while." The Pale Rider said, summoning a pair of scythe.
"Sadly for me, we're not here for a hunt, Kinslayer." Wolf replied, standing behind the Grim Reaper.
"Then why are you here, Kindred?"
The duo were silent at that. A silence that told Death that they were here for something else. Something he may not wish to hear.
Lamb took a step forward, taking the scythe from the Pale Rider's and one of his hands into her own, eyes slowly tracing the lines on calloused skin. Then she Death would note how gentle she was, how she seemed curious of it all. Turning his head slightly, he saw Wolf sitting behind him, eyes treading along the Nephilim's back.
"Why are you here, Kindred?" Death would ask softly.
"We wish to here your stories." Wolf responded.
"My... stories?"
"Yes. For you have lived a long life, and will live long still, yet we have not seen it all, cannot see it all."
"So, you wish for me to tell you of my journeys? Of my life?"
"Yes." The two halves of Kindred said in unison.
"Alright then." Death replied with a bit of a chuckle.
It was in this timeless mental landscape that the Pale Rider told his tales, the Eternal Hunters listening intently. It was as he told of his small detour to Earth when trying to erase his youngest brother's supposed crime that did the duo have a bit more of a reaction. For it was his tale of the Hunter. A human who survived for so long off stubbornness and hope, and how the man had done crimes he would highly come to regret, asking the Pale Rider to slay him as a final request.
Finishing his stories, the Grim Reaper knew that eventually he and the Eternal Hunters would have to part ways. Before doing so however, he would pose his own question.
"Why do you always call me Kinslayer?" Death inquired.
"That is the title we marked you with." Wolf replied, Lamb adding "We mean it as a title to communicate, since we all are Death."
"... I supposed that makes sense." Grumbled the Pale Rider.
Then, as if suddenly a switch had been flipped, the Grim Reaper woke up. He stretched and stood, feeling rejuvenated. Making his way to the kitchen, making himself something to eat, the Pale Rider thought of his time with Kindred. Telling them of his journeys, it felt... good speaking about it with someone other than his siblings, other than people who he is employed by. Maybe it would be good to make some more journeys for him to tell them about.
A couple posts ago I talked about the idea of Darksiders characters as skins in SMITE. Now I want to talk about how I guess, and I do "I guess," they could work if they were legitimate characters in a MOBA. I don't know about how everything in a MOBA works and how exactly passives could work, I am by no means whatsoever an expert, so I'm just going to go over the abilities that would cost mana (or in Darksiders' case, "wrath")
DEATH: The only one I can see as pretty much needed is Death's ultimate being his Reaper Form. It is so much more intertwined with Death than his sibling's super forms are with them, or at least feels that way. For his more normal abilities, I can imagine one of them being his teleport dash, with maybe another being his Aegis Guard, either that or his Reaper Storm, that's the power that he becomes a tornado essentially. I would love to see the Ghouls he summons as part of his abilities but that would probably be at least a bit odd to implement, same goes for the Murder of Crows.
WAR: Blade Geyser is such a part of War's arsenal of powers that it has to be an ability. Guess the same could go for his Stoneskin power as one of his abilities for a MOBA, and finally Rampage as his third ability. His ultimate could implement Chaos Form, I'm just a bit unsure how at the moment.
STRIFE: He's easier than his brothers in a way. His three Wrath abilities in Darksiders Genesis could work as his three abilities, with Shadow Clones as his first, Clatrops as his second, World Ender as his third, and Anarchy Form as part of his ultimate, maybe with him firing his gatling arm and tail laser as a way to potentially decimate opponents.
FURY: She's a bit harder to figure out. Her Wrath abilities are just extensions of the Hollows she gets but she did not always have those. Like her brothers, she ultimate would use her Havoc Form in some way. Maybe take some inspiration from like Aatrox from League of Legends.
I'll probably get to other Darksiders characters in a self-reblog, as like I said, I am by no means an expert when it comes to MOBAs, but if anybody has some input, that would be cool.
The Battleground of the Gods. What a way to waste their time when Creation is on the brink of destruction. At least it is a designated battleground that puts little to no collateral in the way. No humans to kill in a bid to destroy those you hate. The Minions are more like a type of godling than anything else, in a way.
Those were Strife's thoughts as he took in the sites and breathed the air of the battleground. He had ended up here some time ago, some time after the Destroyer had made his attack on the Maker's Tree. He suspected his last minute spell had brought him here to what is a essentially a prison for those that the Charred Council could not destroy without unbalancing the universe. So a pocket dimension where you could keep all these Gods and Monsters together for however long was probably the best option anybody could come up with.
Walking forward into the battleground, Strife readied himself and reached for his guns, only to find he had neither on him. Right. He lost them. Having an idea of where Mercy and Redemption ended up, the Rider of the White Horse pulled out his blades and checked for his caltrops, knowing that he may have to go into battle with less power than he would have liked.
So, a while ago I got started on a Hades/Darksiders crossover fanfic. I got two chapters out and then it went on hiatus essentially. Lately, I have been itching to get back to, so I got started on chapter three. Here's the beginning parts of chapter three of Hades Hath No Fury...
"Augh, damn it!" Said Zagreus.
So close, yet still so far. Having lost to the Rider of the Black Horse once again, Zagreus pulled himself out of the House’s pool of Styx water. Cracking his neck and catching up with Megaera and Thanatos, the prince would go for another run through the Underworld. He felt that this time he could defeat Fury, he had succeeded in beating her but she had also succeeded in killing him. Jumping out of the courtyard/balcony window and down to his father’s doorstep, the prince met his first Olympian for this run, Ares.
“Hello, my kin. It has been a while since I last saw you here. Making it to the surface well enough, I presume. ” Ares spoke, his last line almost like a question.
“Not lately. Fury is still in my way.” Zagreus said out loud, more to himself since he presumed Ares could not hear him. What he had not noticed was a small raising of Ares’ eyebrow, as if he was baffled by that battered state of Zagreus’ body.
Closing his eyes and taking a boon, Zagreus felt a surge of Ares’ power flow through him, a lust for battle rolling through quickly before settling. Dashing forward, he struck the shade, a sword of crimson energy quickly appearing before stabbing downward. Doing the same to the other nearby shade, the ever-dying god would be let through to the next room of Tartarus. Forward and up he went, grabbing another boon or two from Artemis, Athena, and Aphrodite.
“Don’t be afraid to give a big shout when you call.” Said Artemis, her voice tinged with… something.
“Sometimes a good defense is the best offense.” Said Athena sagely and emotionless.
“Tell her that Aphrodite sends her regards.” Ominously spoke the Goddess of Love, as if she had a bone to pick with someone.
Zagreus wondered what was up with all of them. They looked after him, may even be a bit more than just family to him, but there was something else. Something for him to wonder more about after his next duel with the Wielder of Scorn.
Stepping inside the “arena,” Zagreus saw Fury stretching before turning around as the door thudded shut. Both once again had a staring contest before charging at each other. Fury jumped with her whip at the ready, lashing out with it as Zagreus dashed, the boon he got from Athena activating and sending the hit right back at the Rider of the Black Horse. The Horsewoman grunted in pain before turning quickly and getting a good lash in at Zagreus as he stood. In pain yet not ready to give up just yet, he started going on the offensive. Back and forth they traded blows, the two ending up with many wounds from the attacks. Zagreus had even called upon Artemis for help, yet all it did was leave the Horsewoman more angry.
Panting and barely holding themselves up, both combatants ran forward, Zagreus dashing at the last second to activate Athena’s boon, only for Fury to dodge backwards as he did so. She aimed to counterattack, only for Zagreus to dash again and cast his boon from Aphrodite, leaving the Nephilim weak for but a second. Long enough for Zagreus to deal the final blow.
... And there we go! Hope you enjoyed this couple paragraphs of what I wrote! I got a couple more things to write for this and then chapter three will be up where I posted the fic. I'll probably self-reblog the post I made that links to the actual fic.
Did some writing for fun of a Darksiders fic! I've had this idea for a while, since it's fun to think about what else beyond Human, Angel, Demon, and Nephilim could exist in the Darksiders universe.
Within Creation there are many species known for their trickery, for it is a constant, whether selfish or selfless. The Fae are one of those known for the former. Less often for personal gain and more for their amusement. For that amusement, many Faeries’ favorite target is Humanity. A fact that the Charred Council has become quite aware of.
Across the cosmos, a call is sounded. Silent to many, loud and clear to the four it beacons! The four it calls? The Horsemen. Fury. Strife. War. Death. Enforcers of the Council, enforcers of Balance.
“Wonder what kind of mission would need all four of us.” states Strife.
“Probably a number of Demons attempting to corrupt parts of Creation.” replies War
“Or maybe some rogue angels looking to “bring Order” once again. For all the good it will do.” adds Fury.
“Maybe you will get your answers if you decide to listen!” roared a voice, coming from one of the stone heads that physically represents the Council.
“Now that we have your attention. There is a group of Faeries that have been a particular nuisance. Going around the universe, tricking many, too many. Now they play with Humanity.” added a second Council voice.
“Find them. And deal with them how you figure best.” Said the third face of the Charred Council.
Given their mission, the Horsemen set out to the realm where Fae will commonly be found. Discovering their targets to be relaxing at a bar within a small town, the Horsemen prepared for an encounter with pompous charlatans.
A brawl would break out, magic and weapons flying and clashing. The Horsemen had the edge over the Fae in magical and physical power. One thing that the Fae did have though is their wits, and with those wits, they could use their words to reason with and boggle the minds of the Horsemen.
“We will leave Humanity alone, stick to ourselves, even return what isn't ours!” proclaimed the Fae groups’ leader, Ikol.
“Really? We’ve been informed of your group in particular. What you say is only as true as you wish to make it.” Death replied “We’ll need something more substantial than just your words.”
“Of course!” Ikol said “A contract. Now let’s get down to business.”
A long discussion was had, tricky wording was used, phrases and terms that threw the Horsemen for a loop were said. And at the end of it all, as the contract was made, Ikol and his compatriots would find it’s not always hard to outwit and trick the most feared beings in Creation.
“Alright, hand over what isn’t yours, and see yourself off.” said Death, going through the motions.
“Yes, and same to you, Horsemen! Farewell! Oh, and you’re invited to the celebration, wear something nice.”
What Ikol had said left the Horsemen baffled, what celebration and why? The brothers figured it was probably the Fae speaking out of fear and wanting to get on their good side. Thinking not much else of it, they set off.
“So, you ever noticed that those losers were eyeing up Fury? Not shaming them or anything, but I don’t think they’d exactly love her bubbly personality.” joked Strife.
“Where is Fury?” inquired War
“What do you mean “Where is Fury?” She and Rampage aren’t alongside us?”
“No. They are not.”
That caused the brothers to stop in their tracks. Their sister isn't with them? Where is she then? She could not have gotten lost, she’s not one to stray or get sidetracked. Deciding to double back, they hoped that Fury had gotten a bit drunk and not noticed her brothers had left. Upon arriving, they would see that they're adversaries had already left, and there would be no Fury in sight either.
NOTES: I did this a loooooooong while ago. It's something I still need to finish fully. I doubt i'll post the full thing anytime soon, gotten look through my drive and see if I got any ideas to hopefully finish it. Anyways, hope you all enjoyed this.
If there was one thing unique about this end of the world, it would be the appearance of the many gods and monsters, the many angels and demons. Death figured that someone, somewhere freed them all from the Battleground of the Gods. Either that or there was just something different now when it came to the end of the world.
Wandering the jungles of Earth, Death had come upon an ancient temple, one that he had not seen in many, many years. The Temple of Wonder and Pain.
The door had been opened, which meant two things: someone got in, or something got out. Death was more than willing to investigate by himself when he happened upon someone else inside. Someone who looked human but had the aura of a demon. The Demi-Fiend. What could the Demon of Darkness want with the Temple of Wonder and Pain?
Standing back and watching the Demi-Fiend, the Pale Rider would keep an eye on him. If he had to step in, he would, but for now it did not hurt to watch.
The Demi-Fiend had come to this temple looking for someone. Someone who had power that could help in his war against the Great Will. Humanity needed to gain its power to fight the forces of Order and Chaos, whether it be through their own power or by taking it from the gods and monsters of the world would be up to each individual.
Individuals such as Caradog McCallister. The Champion of the Dead. Caradog acted as protector of Xbeltz'aloc, as warden of the Gods of Wonder. Opening the door to the temple, Demi-Fiend stepped inside, ready for the hell that would come.
Caradog had not had a big challenge in some time, the fights with the Champions of the Gods of Wonder had grown stale, so when he felt a breeze pass through the halls, he knew that someone had found the temple and that got him a bit excited. Just maybe the type of challenge he's been looking for.
NOTES: This was kinda fun to write. I like testing myself, I guess, with writing something short like this. I had the idea sometime after writing up my previous post about how it would be cool to see other crossovers into SMT. Hope you all enjoyed this!
