So starting off with the first fic I wrote FOR Ao3 waaaay back in 2016. One Punch Man was my jam, and I needed to warm back up to writing.

The thing was…

They didn’t need bodies. Bodies were a luxury, really. The Sins could freely flit around the world, moving across the globe in a split second. They were, essentially, beliefs given life, and thus, technically, omnipresent. They didn’t need to be physical to do their jobs, but most tended to prefer it that way for one reason or another. Physical bodies were for specialized enacting; when a person carried such potential that it was like walking into the most decadent hotel suite that had ever existed. You just wanted to soak in the tub, sleep in the bed, and fuck on every available surface before it was all taken away. Because bodies, like hotels, were temporary. When you found a good one, an exquisite mind and powerful heart teeming with untapped opportunity, you wanted to kick up your heels.

Rewatching Tokyo Ghoul and I forgot it was just a long series of Shakespearean soliloquies with some actiony bits dashed in for flavor

And Kaneki managing to survive with exactly ZERO sense of self preservation thanks to the kindness of strangers (at least til The ThingTM happens) who live by Yu Gi Oh rules.

My Omega’s Heart (August 19th, 2016)

The epilogue to My Omega, because the idea of their kids, and the effects of feudal era Japan’s version of suppressants long term, wouldn’t leave me until I wrote it all down!

“And one wrong hit, which you are certain to take because you take every hit, and you’ll lose him.” Saitou looked pointedly to the bulging stomach that so worried him, the stomach that Sano’s hands immediately flew to protectively at the very idea. “I don’t want to lose our child.”

“We could make another.”

Saitou’s eyes narrowed and he stood, hearing the fear and posturing in Sano’s voice. He rounded his desk and approached his mate, who stood very still, hands still guarding their unborn. Saitou reached out and stepped in, pulling Sano into a tight embrace, nuzzling into his neck, his Alpha instincts driving him to soothe away the brackish taint of terror in his mate’s scent. Not that he needed the instincts to tell him to.

“Ahou, it would kill us both along with him,” the older man murmured, resting a hand over his mate’s and feeling the warmth of life resting there. “You know it yourself; you couldn’t bear to lose the baby. And I couldn’t bear to lose you.”

Filler Arc, Meow, and Break Away

There are a couple fics here and there that I’m glossing over. They exist, they’re there, I’d love to hear from you if you read them! But I don’t want to post every. single. piece I’ve posted. Brevity and all that...

Filler Arc is a work for the Asagao Normal Boots Academy otome game. I never finished it, and it’s pretty heavy as it currently sits. A small fic in a small fandom, a fandom now very heavily entrenched in some warfare that I walked away from well before the first shot was fired.

Meow is for One Punch Man. Honestly, it was the closest I’d ever gotten to a PWP at that point in time, and I was pretty stoked about it. It was a single chapter, but more was definitely meant to come. I still may go back to it, there was a particular fan who was really eager, but...we’ll see.

And then there was “Break Away”....

That story was written when I was in middle school. With the express limit of only having 3 sheets of lined paper on me for the class period. Rather than do the actual WORK...I wrote a very dated, cringy to current me, yaoi fic about two of the characters from Trigun. I posted it to Adultfanfiction.net and for some unknown reason somebody requested more...so I wrote two more chapters. It was digging up this fic aaages later that led me to Ao3 and got me to sign up. It was embarassing in that ‘oh my gods you have no idea how anything works’ kind of way...and I knew that I could do better. So I posted that, December 15th 2013, when I joined Ao3. And, as you can tell, I didn’t do much of anything for a long while afterwards. School, life, the usual...but finally I started to write again. And now Break Away is that funny little starting point that I go to when I think I’ve got no skills or talent, and remind myself of where I came from.

I know, I know, suuuuper corny and self indulgent but ah well.
