Not To Be Native On Main But Like, Its Everyones Responsibility To Steward The Land Theyre On. Like Youre
not to be native on main but like, it’s everyone’s responsibility to steward the land they’re on. like you’re required. if you’re in america the people who own the land aren’t around to steward it so pick up the slack. learn how people cultivated and cared for the land you’re on. if you’re an animist there’s really no excuse. man, i get disabilities and stuff (i’m disabled myself) but you gotta do something. get some native grasses and toss em into your yard. mow your grass a little higher. leave a little strip that’s completely untouched so native wildlife can take residence there. cultivate a relationship with the land you’re on, not only for magical reasons (and you WILL get magical benefits) but also because the earth is deserving of love and respect in itself.

actually TERFs RELY on the rest of the trans community hating transmascs.
they push a narrative that trans women are oppressive men and nonbinary people are gender conforming women, i.e. the two subsets of people outside the queer community who terrorize transmascs and butches most, and once we are isolated from each other and our peers TERFs will swoop in with love bombs and reassurance and the intent to radicalize.
listen y'all. TERFs THEMSELVES spread the rhetoric that transmascs aren't oppressed and have no real problems and are too dumb to know better and should shut up and look pretty. The origin of this rhetoric is obvious: it is repurposed, weaponized misogyny, applied here as transmisandry/transandrophobia, and it is Deliberate.
if the next time you argue against transmasc rights you can switch the pronouns and recognize misogyny, you have a problem.
also: if you're arguing against transmasc rights...you have a problem!!
the only two faces of transmasculinity anyone knows is the caricatured softboi or The Invisible Man, indistinguishable from his cis counterparts, and TERFs are counting on it.
let *us* tell you what our experiences are like instead.
i see a lot of posts going around by transmasc people saying shit like “we need to decenter ourselves in conversations about transphobia and terfs, terfs are inherently transmisogynistic and that’s the important part” and as a transfem: no the fuck you don’t and no the fuck it isn’t. in the past 5 years like 90% of transphobia coming out of the “gender cr*tical” crowd has been aimed directly and squarely at transmasc people. the whole hrt debate thing is EXPLICITLY about saving “vulnerable young daughters”.
center yourselves. please. you’ve been taught not to for your entire life, don’t take that perspective into your trans identity. erasure of transmasc issues is a huge problem in the trans community and it comes directly from allies idealizing, lionizing, patronizing and (dare i say it) fetishizing transfem people
reminder that if you’re questioning your gender, “what do I want?” and “what will make me happy?” tend to be much more useful questions than “what am I, really?”
