Say it with me now:
1. Being free from sin is not the same as being God.
2. Mary being free from sin does not make her God.
3. Mary being free from sin does not make the Incarnation unnecessary because she is still not God.
4. Christ's sacrifice was not meritorious merely because He was a man free from sin but because He is both man and God.
5. Mary is not God.
6. If you think Catholics talk about Mary more than Jesus maybe it's because you only engage with Catholics via our responses to Protestant criticisms which skews your perspective.
7. Every Marian doctrine ultimately points to Christ and tells us something about Christ and His salvific mission, so even when we are talking about Mary, we are also talking about Christ.
Just saw your other post and:

It's Canon guys.
what if Damian started addressing bruce as Father instead of father because he worships the man and he has become a God in his eyes WHAT THEN?!!!
so like, you know how it's weird to write young characters across generations? like a ten year old in the 90s and a ten year old in the 2010s are just dramatically different ten year olds, due to different cultural truths and technological advancements those ten year olds are exposed to?

do you think, with the majority of kids being more aware about neurodivergence and mental illness, tim and damian routinely need to explain to dick and barbara that bruce isn't intentionally ignoring their emotions when he's hyperfixating on shit, he's just autistic
and bruce, being easily mid 40s and very much the kind of cis """"hetero"""" white man who doesn't like therapy and (mercifully) doesn't like self help or therapyspeak, is constantly like, im not fucking autistic, your feelings are just boring
but they all know now
they're starting to spot signs, like how the commemorative robin costumes in the cave are soothingly aligned in order of descending size or how everything is coordinated with muted colours, or how bruce keeps the lights in the batcave dim because y'know photosensitivity, etc etc
tim & damian's beef in red robin makes me kind of sad, but at the same time it's so funny cause damian is always getting his ass with his remarks. he's always so quick /w it too and it doesn't help that he's just a kid 😠it catches me off guard for a sec cause some of the shit he says is just so out of pocket, but then i start laughing ðŸ˜

You may not be pregnant, but you always deliver

okay
look
i'm going to be deadass with you
people do not actually behave like this when you acquire a disability. acquiring a disability is traumatic, not just for the disabled individual, but for the people in their life who must re-learn that person's life and reality, yes. that is true.
but they see you continue to live and in time the disability becomes normal, just a feature of life. when you see your friend remove his prosthetic or waggle his stumpie for the first time, it's weird and uncomfortable; if you still find it weird and uncomfortable after a year, you are being a freak. adjusting to a new communication need is frustrating and it's natural to feel distant from someone while you learn the nuances of their aac; but you DO learn, and as you become fluent, the frustration does fade. the first time a friend rolls up in their chair after an injury can be shocking and let's be honest, no, you do not know the right thing to say and neither do they - that is a moment that will always be awkward. that awkwardness does pass, and you see the individual, not the chair.
i NEED bruce and the boys to harden the fuck up about babs' chair because they reduce her to it every single time they see the jonkler and go
noooooooo
babs' leggggs
ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
in a way, they make themselves the victim of barbara's disability. she's built a life and she's moving on but the men that surround her constantly think of the chair and not the woman in it - with the exception of dick ofc, his flaw is that he thinks cops are human, not that he thinks crips are inhuman.
it's an unexplored nuance of bruce - that, in a way, his sense of guilt for barbara's disability is selfish, and that when he mourns who she was to the partial exclusion of who she has been able to become, he does rob her of that new identity.
