The brilliant @sintastein had been commissioned by me to make this and dear lord does it look good, it’s for the beginning of Chapter 9 from ‘It All Started With A Mistake’ for right here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/16587800/chapters/39496279 

It looks so cute, and it being made from the artist that once ran one of the biggest Soriel ask blogs (before it was retired for perfectly valid reasons) is just staggering. 

The fact that they- and really any artist that has done drawings for this- have actually done so, commission or not- just shakes me down to my core in the best way, thank you guys. 

And even those that can’t draw, you’re not alone one bit, thanks for being here as well, you have absolutely no idea how much I appreciate all of you being there and liking the bitties :’)

The trinkets I would bring actually amount to three as I would bring a stack of my best stories to present to see if they like it, on a scale of sweetness to yandere, a tray of my no bake peanut butter bars (which are like Reese’s with a gentle graham cracker crunch) and a music player filled with every song I could get my hands on, from ones that make you want to dance, to those that make you want to sing, others that make you motivated, and others that make you want to hug someone.

Dear Dotchi–

I thank you so much for your patience in finding you the perfect mate. After receiving your gifts and being your pen pal for a few weeks, we have a very shy Cyprus who has decided he’s ready to come home with you! I know we have been discussing him for some time , but if you need additional time to prepare for him we understand.

Some basic information for you, since they are not included on the brochure due to rarity:

Cyprus, unlike their Tramp counterparts, are relatively short for a Papyrus bara. They usually stand at about 6′4″ to 6′7″ tall and hold themselves even smaller. They are slender and fragile, with only 1 HP, but hold a lot of magic in their bodies–due to this they are easily susceptible to magic overload, but are capable of amazing feats of strength in a pinch.

The Cyprus are a very shy breed, very nervous, but wonderfully loving, loyal, and submissive once they’re comfortable with their partner. They are high attachment and low handling, meaning he will hopefully psuedo-bond with you upon sight–if this does not occur then do not fret, for this one is still healing from the loss of his brother and may need some extra time to adjust.

He was intrigued by your offer of music and as such has decided to bring you a gift in the form of some records that are dear to him. He also keeps his brother’s royal guard medals in a shadowbox that he would like to display in his living space, if that is alright with you. I suggest an upfront manner and honesty with this one–he tends to worry himself half to death with any sort of mystery.

I’ve enclosed a picture of him so you may make your final decision, and he is ready as he’ll ever be whenever you are.

Well, I’ve talked it over with them. I’ll keep them supervised when I’m home and Sol and Riddle will keep them separate when I’m gone. Don’t worry, my frisk bit’s a very sweet Pacifrisk ;). I’m also considering getting a Papy now. I wasn’t sure I could deal with the energy at first, but with more Bitties around I think it’d work out well. If it’s good with you, I’ll come pick up a murder now :)

Murders will definitely help you if you need wrangling other bitties, they’ve got patience and the determination ;) 

You arrived to the home of the bad bitties, to which you are welcomed very enthusiastically as the first adoptee, Toriel waving you over to The Table: Where questions are answered and- while the place is under brief construction- where the bitties are to be picked up. 

Murder appeared on The Table with another Murder bitty, whom had been told all about their new home and where they were going to stay, being made aware of the Pacifrisk- that gained a good laugh from everyone, good job on that- and made aware there was a possible adoption for a Papyrus bitty as they look to you in anticipation with their arms around sheets of paper all mashed together to his chest, dark and kind of gory pictures drawn on them to be shown to you when he would be ready.

The Murder bitty has only become more eager at the future possibilities as the moment you came close he was gone from being around Murder and Toriel, appearing on your shoulder, looking to you with a nearly skull-breaking grin as he hugged his horrifying drawings to himself tighter, his care bag being set in your arms with his red and pale blue magic. 

“ Ready when you are.” He grinned as he kicked his feet, gleeful and ready to meet the others at his new home.

Personally, I think your art looks pretty great! If you don't already, try using references of what you're drawing, it's a surprisingly good help. Keep it up!

Dotchi: Thanks you guys! I appreciate that a lot! And just to let you know I try as best as I can on the references, that’s why it doesn’t look worse, but I appreciate any tips anyways, so thank you!
