10. warlock. i heard you like tentacles so i made a tentacle monster that gets magic from a tentacle monster so you can have tentacles while you tentacles.

9. sorcerer. imagine a mindflayer staring you down and going to cast telekinesis at you and it fireballs itself.

8. fighter. yeah i have a bunch of magic but have you considered a sword.

7. barbarian. beats fighter largely for the inherent comedy of an extremely buff mindflayer.

6. ranger. imagine you’re walking through the woods and you get actual cannibal shia labeouf’d by a brain-eating tentacle monster. and then its wolf companion eats the leftovers.

5. paladin. funniest if you’re a paladin of some nice god. what’s up i’m here to save you from the gnolls. yes i’m a brain-eating monster. it’s fine.

1. monk. “oh no a mindflayer! it’s going to use its mind powers to paralyze us and drag us in to eat our brains!” mindflayer drops into a racing start stance and just fucking Sprints at you. fucking hilarious.
