The constant fic writer struggle.

There’s the “I know I can take my time with my stories. People understand and it’s better for both the fics and my brain if I don’t rush.” side.

But then there’s also the “WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG TO DO?! I’ve made several chapters in the span of a week before! Why is it so hard now? And I’m making people wait! I don’t want to disappoint them or make them think I forgot about the fic!” side.

It’s a frequent battle in my mind.

RainCode Ship Week Day 7+1: Free Day (Bonus)

So I did a little something extra for ship week! I drew a scene from @draconicsparkle fic they wrote for Free day! This is for chapter 3 of 'Captive Heart'! What on earth is happening to have Yuma so freaked out?

I really wanted to draw some MakoYuma for ship week and I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak of Kira's fic, so I created this for them! If you want some dark MakoYuma please give it a look (spoilers for the whole of RainCode of course). Thank you for letting me work with you once again Kira!

So I was incredibly lucky to have been able to participate in the recent @neondownpourzine. It was such a fascinating process and it was a blast getting to see all the in progress pieces on both the writing and art sides. Everyone there was also super supportive! This fandom is full of truly amazing and wonderful people.

Now that it’s been a week since the release, I was able to post my fic on ao3! I was able to collab with @cyanide-drinkerxx and I adore the piece they made for my fic! Like, it’s so cool!!!

Oh? I didn’t expect to get asked this. But hey! I’m happy to answer!

1. I like that I was able to pursue a career that I’ve wanted to do since I was young. I’m now an archaeologist and have worked at a few really important sites.

2. I’m super proud of being aromantic and asexual. Love and passion hold no power over me so I’m unstoppable.

3. I often surprise myself with how much I’ve created in terms of fanfics. I pushed past my distaste of writing and have made so many stories that would have otherwise just sat in my mind for only me to enjoy. But now I can share them with the fandoms!

4. I like that I generally can keep a positive attitude about things about 80% of the time. I try to help uplift people and be supportive and I hope to continue as long as I can.

5. I can drive stick shift. Not many can claim that anymore.
