So, obviously no putting down other shows, I’m not about that life, especially not this one, but with the style of the pics they used in this post, it might be a fun place for some of our amazing artists to showcase their fan art while plugging the show to heartstopper fans?

I can’t draw to save my life, but I’m pretty decent at stringing a sentence together, so I’ll just do my normal blurb, but most of you guys are insanely talented artists. I would say I have all the envy, but it’s much closer to reverent respect lol. (Edited to add the Netflix Uk version too.)

We’re about 6k views behind it, but DBD’s has been out for 6 days and GO’s has been out for 13, so I consider that pretty damn good.

We actually surpassed GO’s video in likes by 1k. We’re at 14k, it’s at 13k.

And lastly, we have double its comments, with 2.2k, compared to 1.1k.

Payneland being married is still such a funny concept to me because like physically, these two are still like sixteen, right? So maybe this wouldn't faze ghosts that have more experience being dead. But newly-deceased clients would come in and see two best friends or a two awkward teens in their first relationship, but then they'd see the rings and Charles would mention being married and they'd be like Hello??? You two are practically babies??? Edwin huffs. I am inclined to remind you that the two of us have been dead longer than we've been alive. Now, onto business- You two were in a heated discussion about the best Scooby Doo character just now??? I told you the only payment I could give was half a fidget spinner and you accepted it??? Immediately?? A relationship I understand, but are you two sure you're both emotionally ready for an entire marriage??? And Edwin looks confrontational, but Charles stops him from biting the client's head off with a casual shrug. Believe me, we've both been around a long time. We've had our fair share of life experiences. We're far more mature than we seem at first glance- Oh, hey!

The client watches as Charles' head snaps over to watch a frog leap along the windowsill. He leans in for a closer look before falling off the end of the table and through the floor.

The client gawks; Edwin seems entirely unfazed.

Sorry 'bout that, mate, Charles says, rubbing at his head as he floats back up. What was I saying again?

The client snaps their jaw shut. Don't worry about it. Silently, they pray that these two teenagers have enough emotional capacity to deal with a potential divorce.

Welcome to the reverse verse! This is part 1 of 2 of a commission for @i-am-as-normal-as-you-are and I can't wait to tell you all about it, because I'm incapable of being normal and chill about these concepts, so I ran with it.

Charles Rowland was born in 1900, his mum was from India and moved to the UK after marrying Charles' dad, a soldier who was not... very loving. Charles' heritage gave him some problems, but none as bad as that one time in 1916 when he was sacrificed to a demon and spent the next 7 decades in Hell. He doesn't like to talk about it, except when it can get him what he wants. He was always an angry boy, or so he thought, but after his time spent in Hell, it became so much worse. He's explosive and unpredictable, and so he mostly avoids conflict. He doesn't need to fight anyone, as his charming personality and sweet smile (plus a few smart calculations) always seem to be enough to convince people to give him what he asks for. And when the fight is inevitable... well, he has Edwin for that!

Edwin Payne grew up very sheltered, in a deeply religious home, and he is proud of that. Don't try to argue with him, because he surely has a Bible verse that will help him win (and if not, he is not above using his croquet mallet now that he has someone to keep safe). Unfortunately for him, he realized at a quite young age that he felt attraction towards other boys. Even worse, somehow other people could tell as well, including those peers that ended up killing him for it (the rumour spread throughout school was that he had died due to AIDS, and most people just accepted it). He never acted on those unnatural urges of his, but when he met this ghost who had just escaped Hell... he decided not to risk eternal damnation, and to stay here with Charles, instead. Edwin has no interest in the supernatural or in magic, and sort of looks down on them, but luckily his friend's got that covered.

Seriously, @netflix, who releases a new show about GHOSTS in APRIL? Are you guys ok? Do you need help?

I think the "I love you" "Great, love you too, can we go?" Is actually one of my favourite parts of the whole staicase scene™. Because although it is VERY explicitly shown that those boys, in fact, truly love and care for eachother throughout the show, it's so important to me that they actually said it. And Charles response was immediate! Of course he loves Edwin! I don't know, to me, him refering to Edwin as his "best mate" is, ofc, very sweet and he really means it, but it feels kind of something said between "regular" cishet boys, or something? (I don't really know). But when he says he loves Edwin so easily it just shows that he really REALLY loves him! I mean, considering his background I'd say he probably has some issues with his masculinity because of social demands, perhaps, but when he's talking about Edwin? Fuck social norms. He's saying "love you too" to his best mate because he wants to. End of question.

I just love them so much!!!

So I dropped this in the discord server, but I figured I should put it here too. I know I don’t really have much of a social media reach, but anyone it helps motivate and boosts spirits is worth it.

Update on the Danny video front: views-wise we’re only about 24k behind his latest Good Omens video after being out about a 5 days shorter. Since I started following the views, our video has gone up about 26k, while the GO one has gone up about 4K. So I consider that a pretty good job so far. He already said he was going to finish GO, so if we can at least make comparable numbers, that’s good.

Also, when comparing comments, we have almost double the GO video. Granted SOME were people complaining about it not being the owl house, but not enough for it to do those numbers. We’re also only about 1k behind on likes.

Also also, I keep saying “us” and “our” like we’re the ones who made the video lol. But I guess we have a right to claim at least a tiny bit of it, we bullied the poor dude into making it lol.

We’re doing good guys. I know it sucks right now, but we’re a strong force to be reckoned with. Take joy in everything you can, don’t let Netflix rob you of that.
