don't know if anyone else has pointed this out and obviously shoes aren't mutually exclusive to what style you wear, plus i'm no fashion expert etc etc but i think it's interesting that edwin and charles wear shoes that more or less match the others' style rather than their own.

edwin's boots look more like something charles would wear

and the shoes charles wear look more like something edwin would wear

might also be worth noting

the shoes charles died in vs the ones he manifests in (his current shoes)

(and edwin is wearing the same boots he's been wearing)

what does it mean? probably nothing. I just noticed it and went "aw cute :)"

Day 7 of @painlandweek - Soulmate AU

It's hard to believe that today is already the last day of Painland Week. I haven't gotten around to reading the fics yet and I'm looking forward to it! :)

Each day, your arm reveals a different location where your soulmate will be that day. For Charles, however, it had always displayed only one word: Hell.

Thank you all for being so supportive and encouraging! It was so nice seeing commenters telling me they loved the picture and wanted me to continue! Charles' face is a little fuzzy looking with some random splotches of color here and there, but I suppose it doesn't look too bad. This isn't my most perfect masterpiece, but I'm posting it as a thank-you to my very kind followers.

As usual, this painting was done traditionally with Mei Liang watercolors and a Pentel Aquash brush, inked with a Sakura Pigma Micron.

It’s also fun to think, that could possibly have been the first time either of them had been on a plane. Do you think one or both of them would’ve stuck their head out the side of the fuselage or something just for funsies?

everyone talks about how weird it is that Crystal managed to get through the airport without a passport, not enough people talk about what Charles and Edwin must have been doing on that plane. I need a season two where they fly somewhere else and there's a scene in the airport where you can see Charles and Edwin riding around the baggage carousel.
