Okay, enough of y'all liked the last highly questionable thing that I posted, maybe you'll like this one, too. (It's not a full one-shot because the brain mush hasn't had time to properly percolate on it, but it might be eventually)

So, imagine an AU where Rei's parents didn't basically sell her to Enji for a quirk marriage. He still needs an ice quirk user to bear his children to create what he envisions for Shoto in the canon AU. So he gets the bright idea to adopt an ice quirk user out of an orphanage. He does it to seem like Mr. Charitable, and he treats the girl well... Maybe a little too well.

He buys her gifts, and she gets anything she wants, as long as she does easy chores/tasks. He's one of the top heroes, so he's got money. She also gets hugs, kisses on the cheek, headpats, they watch movies and things together, and he holds her hand when they go anywhere... To the world, he just seems like a good dad, one that even All Might respects.

At first (we'll say she's between 8 and 11, so still kind of impressionable), her tasks are easy things like keeping her room clean, doing her homework, doing well in school, keeping up with her hygiene (hair, teeth, bathing, etc)...

Then as she ages, harder tasks are added on. Learning to help cook, going to social events with him as his favorite charity project little girl, doing the dishes on her own, etc.

When she reaches puberty, she starts cooking dinners, doing most of the household chores, and joining clubs and things at school (like honors societies and volunteer organizations).

The only interesting thing about that is that he decides to opt her out of sex ed, saying he'll take care of it. The school sees no problem with this, as he's Endeavor, the Number 2 hero. Why would they suspect him of nefarious intentions... right?

So he teaches her at home. He distorts it into something he can use. He's waited years for this, and he's ready. So along with the gifts he usually gives and the things he usually treats her to, he starts expanding his affection. Longer hugs. Kisses on the lips. Cuddle time when they watch things together.

Eventually (as in, once she's 18), he gets bold enough to give her an "extra special reward for being such a good daughter" to him. He's the one who taught her about sex-ed, so she only knows what he taught her. She knows to stay away from boys at school, but she doesn't know exactly why. She doesn't know about her own reproductive system other than her period.

So he takes her to his room to cuddle in his bed. It's nothing they haven't done before, at first. They spend a bit of time talking until he feels it's a good time to show her the "reward." And as he takes her, he says,

"I do this because I love you so much."

When you're having trouble sleeping, it takes him a while to notice because he either sleeps too deeply, or is too busy to notice the beginnings of the bags and dark circles under your eyes

But after the 3rd case of energy drinks gets put into the fridge, it clicks for him, and he takes a good look at you to see what's wrong

He'll set aside his work and ask you if you want to talk about it, giving you *the look* when you try to say you don't want to bother him with it

When you talk, he mostly listens to what you have to say, only interjecting when he feels like something needs to be talked about in more detail

He'll pull you into his arms and cuddle you to try to help you sleep better, which usually works, now that your mind isn't full of untended thoughts

But when even that doesn't work, he gets your consent before fucking you hard, not letting up until you're physically too tired to stay awake

And then he loops back a step, pulling you in and wrapping you in his love and warmth, watching you sleep with a tired smile on his lips
