Whoever decided that chat noir/Adrien is not gonna participate in that epic fight should be fired.

The fight was really cool but it lacked that emotionally scarring aspect (that I have secretly been craving CUZ I'M SICK IN THE HEAD hihihi).

Having an amazing combat is not enough. If Adrien had been there, we as viewers could have felt so much more: Empathy, compassion, sadness, anger, relief.

Also Marinette would have for once had a break from the constant spotlight.

Yes she's the protagonist but chat is the deuteragonist. His arc in season 4 was mainly about how he's just as fundamental to the story, that they are stronger together and all that. Only for you to throw all this character/story development in the trash.

Also to make the main villain live under the same roof as one of your main heroes and not only that, he's his parent for God's sake. Do you realise how amazing of a plot that is ? But then you don't utilize this aspect at all ughhhh 🤦‍♀️.

Adrien deserves to know he's a sentibeing, deserves to know his mother was alive, deserves to know the truth about his father being a MANIPULATIVE ABUSIVE BI?£# .

My theory is that the cube itself is not a key, but rather some sort of a magic detector, which can find the actual key- a person/being that can use all primal sources or just more than one. 

We’ve seen the cube lighten up when it was close to someone/something wielding a primal source, like Bait or Rayla. Maybe if someone unlocked two or more arcana, two or more symbols would light up. 

Callum has already unlocked two and maybe it’s enough or Aaravos is waiting for him to unlock all. The latter is, in my opinion, less probable bc Aaravos says that ‘his freedom is near’. But, what if by ‘near’ he means ‘closer than before’? Also, Aaravos is 5000 years old (and Startouch elves can probably reach even more), so he probably experiences time differently than humans. So all the time it takes Callum to unlock all arcana would probably mean nothing to him.

(If Callum unlocks an arcanum once every 2 years, he’ll be able to use all in around 8 years. What is 8 years, when compared to 300 years of isolation and 5000 years of your life)

I'm a bit concerned by the fact that Aaravos seemed pretty sure that his freedom was near during the last episode

As I stated in my previous post, I don't think that the key of Aaravos is the key to his prison... So what is the key to his prison? Maybe there's a dark magic spell that Aaravos would've taught Viren/Claudia to free him but he didn't even know where his prison was so how would he know the spell? Maybe he wanted to do a transfer, put Viren/Claudia in his place so that he can be free

OR... or Aaravos planned on Callum and the gang catching up to them? Maybe he wanted Claudia to lose. I should probably rewatch season 3-5 to see if it directly contradicts stuff he said, but I think it would be very on brand with the "mastermind manipulator who's always a step ahead" idea

Does Callum have something that could open his prison? Is the Key of Aaravos actually the key to his prison? What can Callum do that dark magic can't?

OMG if this were true imagine how disappointed he was about seeing Jon being able to do that. Like he spends 2 generations to trying to blow people up with his mind and he just accidentally gives this to Jon??? Like for real oh ceaseless watcher where the heck is my ability to do that. gimme

I’m just imagining Elias/Jonah Magnus trying to figure out what his new powers are when he first got them. Like he’s just like, ‘could I blow someone up by sheer will???’ And just stares at somebody while trying to blow them up through their mind.

Does Lila know that the butterflies don’t come with the miraculous?

Or will she just not be evil until she gets a butterfly supply

I mean do you remember when one of Adrian’s fanboys wasn’t invited to a party and he turned into some evil disco guy and Kim got a miraculous

But also during that episode Gabriel was pretending to leave for a couple of days on a business trip but was actually in his basement just collecting butterflies or breeding or something down there

How do you guys feel about everything that happened at the end of season 5? I kinda vibe with it and can’t wait to see what happens later
