The Ocean

You made the distance far and vast

To be sure I wouldn’t visit

There’s now an ocean between us,

And I’m surely drowning in it.

Sorrow

Sorrow’s where we often dwell

And revel in our tainted hell

For all the world to come and tell

All of which we’d not done well

Martyrdom

She thought he’d mature

Grow up and try harder

But he’s the king now

And she’s become the martyr

Someone New

But you could be the one,

I'd rather try a million times,

For us to get it right,

Than fall in love with someone new.

Love all gone, trapped in cages

The fervent fever, how it rages
