It has been 32 weeks no contact today.
October is the start of past trauma season for me.
I dropped the ball on pumpkins this year, so I missed out on the catharsis. I am feeling drained because of work, but I don't feel the usual nonsense. Not yet, anyway.
I've been out from under his thumb for 6 years as of almost 2 weeks ago. He ruined my sense of self and nearly killed me.
But I'm still here. And while I'll probably always be a bit of a mess, he'll die knowing that he failed in his attempts to squash me completely.
Fuck that guy.
Rise above ✊ We are here to overcome our challenges and stay positive, no matter what life throws at us. We must find our inner strength and resilience, handle life's ups and downs with grace, and become stronger through our experiences. Now is the time to learn and grow.

Back in 2010, I discovered Top Gear by watching their first ever special, the Botswana Special. Initially, I started watching this show for the Ferraris and Lambos, but what made me stay watching it is Jeremy, Richard, and James with their dynamic. Fourteen years later, this trio has been a part of my life for almost 2/3 of my entire lifetime! So, to end The Grand Tour and their whole car show thing in the exact same place where I discovered them all those years ago, is such an undescribably beautiful poetry that ends the whole saga. Huge thanks to Mr. Clarkson, Mr. Hammond, Mr. May, Mr. Wilman, and the whole crew. You guys left an empty car-shaped hole in my heart. 🥹🫡
