I went into hiding

When you put me on the shelf

You never came to find me

So in turn, I found myself

Decay

She’s a frost bitten flower

Her kiss turning sour

Like a fruit that’s left to go rotten

He’s a weeper in the willows

Screams into pillows

Slowly drifting among the forgotten

My Storm

I feel like a moth, and you’re the flame

Drawn helplessly to you, it’s my heart you’d tame

I sat here and thought, if people were rain

I’d be a drizzle, and you’d be hurricane

Serendipity

She loved like the tide,

Such a wild, wild ride

As she brought her love to me

And my heart, it fluttered

At the words she uttered

As I’d dwell serendipitously

Seasoned

The winter air would chill my soul

The summer would melt me through

Spring would wash away my pain

Then I’d just fall for you!

Walk toward me, and i’ll run toward you!
