New Genesis

New Genesis formed from fragments of the world of the old gods, which was destroyed in a catastrophic war. The race of gods that evolved there have a reverence for nature, diversity of species, individual freedom, and beauty. It is a garden planet, sparsely populated. Most of the New Gods live in spectacular cities that hover in the clouds above the surface. 

Apokolips

The final war of the old gods spilt their world apart. The fragments coalesced into two new worlds. Similar life forms developed on each, but they developed differently. Kryptonite is a radioactive crystalline substance forged deep inside the planet Krypton. Krypton's explosion ejected millions of tons of the material into space. Variations in its composition create a range of different colors and properties.

Although Kryptonians are most susceptible to it's effects, it's radiation is dangerous to life from other planets as well.

Green Kryptonite causes immediate sickness to Kryptonian life. Prolonged exposure can be fatal.
