Personally I always supposed it as because in Greek mythology snakes are linked to prophecies aka knowing the future (especially with the child of Gaia, Python, whose rotting remains emit smokes that help the prophetess, the Pythia, having visions). Also Viperion's weapon is a lyra which one of the symbols of Apollo, God of prophecies.

I know the miraculous box is supposed to be Chinese's culture inspired but you can have multiple inspirations 🤷‍♀️. Plus I don't know enough about Chinese mythology to connect the dots.

Juleka's main character's traits in the show are essentially 1) being shy, 2)being goth/liking creepy stuffs (there is more of course but I'm aiming for the bases). Plus her assigned miraculous is the tiger whose power is basically an unexpected burst of will/bravery, it's link to Juleka's need to affirme herself and make her voice heard.

For me it can go pretty well with the characteristics of Poseidon's child who are basically chill until they're not/can have mood switch like the weather on the ocean + to strangers they seem dangerous/creepy (Percy is known to be a chill guy but he's deadly in battles and in extern pov he's described as scary).

-> it matches with Juleka's personality which is calm/shy like a calm sea until she needs to take a stand and she becomes ferocious like a tempest.

-> her goth aesthetic fits with the scary/dangerous vibes everyone is having from the Big Three's kids.

-> I can see her having a deep interest in sea abyssal creatures + chatting with them, it freaks out others (mirroring her interest for creepy stuffs in the serie).

Also her mother is pirate coded. I'm sure this woman caught Poseidon like a fish and they had a fantasy book's love story on the sea, searching treasures and shit like that.

And my last argument if you need more is: her miraculous is the tiger, tigers can swim.

Back in 2022 I had a Synchronicity Bakusquad AU with Mina as Len and Denki as Rin (because I love making them siblings).

Thinking about Recom!Jake....

Recom!Jake Sully that was scanned before he really got to know any of the Na'vi or Team Avatar, who only associated those groups with a means to an end (new legs) and not family. (Thinking like early Avatar 1 when he was still being excluded at the lunch table by the scientists, still loyal to Quaritch)

Recom!Jake, who wakes up with the other Recoms to realize he got his legs, but now he is permanently a giant blue alien, and can never go home.

Recom!Jake feeling conflicted (and highkey having an identity crisis) as hes being told he needs to help hunt down and kill himself. Recom!Jake who gets shit from Recom!Quaritch about being a traitor constantly, and feels that need to prove that thats not him, that he is still a good soldier.

Recom!Jake coming face to face with Lo'ak when the kids get captured, and internally freaking out because what do you mean that's his kid? Hes like 22, he's way to young to have kids, he probably doesn't even want kids??? (and you know the Recom's all start making jabs at him over OG!Jake getting it on with a Na'vi, which makes the internal spiral way worse)

Recom!Jake meeting Spider (who is very freaked out by him lets be real) and feeling incredibly conflicted over what this kid is telling him about this entire family this other version of him has. Spider, despite the weirdness, keeping closer with Recom!Jake than Quaritch, because at least he is familiar, and maybe even safe. (Quaritch in turn trying to be a father figure to both of them in an attempt to ensure loyalty and trust)

Recom!Jake becoming extremely attached to Spider because he reminds him of Tommy (who you cannot tell me did not gush constantly about Pandora before his death), and starting to feel real bad about the RDAs goals here and his part in it.

Recom!Jake that is staring out at that other Jake Sully on the water, watching Quartich hold his kids at gun point and Spider screaming at them to stop.
