Guys, Hear Me Out. Idk If Anyone Has Said This Before But I've Got A HC.
Guys, hear me out. Idk if anyone has said this before but I've got a HC.
If the Kokiri from OOT are some kids in the Lost woods, where no hylian has been, wouldn't it be logical if the kokiri didn't know how to speak hylian language and instead their own language? Or maybe they just know a little of hylian, enough to understand signals and such.
Then, if Time had grown there then we can think about a kid Time who used to speak kokiri or smth. Then, when he was on adventure he would learn it more.
So, my HC is that Time sometimes forgets that he should be speaking hylian and starts speaking kokiri instead. Would be fun if he unconsciously swore in kokiri and the others freaked out.

In light of Link’s new Tony Hawk levels of anonymity, I’m now headcanoning that it’s a curse of a triforce bearer.
Triforce of Courage: ability to save the world with none of the recognition. Nobody will remember who you are or what you did, you are a side character of your own legend
Triforce of Wisdom: knowledge and ability and wisdom rivaling the gods, with no one to listen. Never heard, never heeded, wisdom blocked even from yourself
Triforce of Power: untold power at your disposal, you could wipe the lands clean and remake the world how you see fit. And yet, that which you seek all this power for will never be yours, you will always fall to another
Also I saw someone say they loved the divine beasts because they were challenging. I don't mean to sound negative or like they can't find divine beasts challenging but when I see things like that I'm like yeah you haven't played ocarina of time
One problem I’ve been having with Tears of the Kingdom is that everything controls and graphics wise is SO similar to Breath of the Wild that I sometimes forget I’m playing with a fresh Baby Child layout instead of my wildly powerful Calamity-Whuppin one.
I’ll see a big monster and, briefly forgetting that I have five hearts, I’ll think to myself, “I can take him.”
Spoiler alert I VERY MUCH CANNOT
I have nothing against people being Zelink shippers for totk. I do however find issue with people purely shipping it in such a anti lgbtq+ reasons. Last I checked nintendo stated they made link look how he does for the player to better see themselves within the character. So the moment a person mentions they make him trans or ship him in a more queer relationship, the few fans come storming to shut you down. It makes those who identify as LGBTQ+ feel unsafe. Sure Nintendo does tend to make link straight in a few known games. However in the end it’s you as the gamer to ship him however way you want.
If I hear one more person trying to shove their ship down the fandom’s throat- I shall scream. It’s has been proven even those interviewing the VA have even twisted their words to draw people on. So badly that the VA had to go on social media to explain that their words were twisted and what they true meaning was. Now that not them discouraging how people ship. But in totk zelda and link’s closeness is up to the player’s interpretation. Which is not canon. It’s fanon. So be mindful. We all ship differently and see link differently. Don’t be the reason some feels unsafe in the fandom because of your ship or view point.
(This may not be the last I say this, but I am so done interacting with the fan base. It’s exhausting dealing with people who can’t respect everyone ships or see link differently. He is whoever the player makes link to be and who he may like. Unless Nintendo clearly makes a point to straight up says who link is with. In the mean time it’s left for interpretation.)

Rauru wouldn’t appreciate my commentaries 😔
