Chapter 5: Shady Fortune

The Big Clock In The Hall Room....With its huge pendulum swinging to and fro as the clock short hand hits 12 o clock at night..the clock starts calling out its usual music while ringing ding dong 12 times....as the sound echoed in the hall room set in silence.

Some voices echoed in her head....as she found laying on the bed in a very relax manner with her eyes closed completely in deep sleep. Mikasa eyelids started moving a bit as she started seeing some numerous unclear visions in head all over again....

Her forehead started to sweat as her lips started to tremble in her sleep....she gets hold of the bedsheet strongly as she tries to grip on something for support....

A blurry vision of a man with a gun flashed across her mind....as she kept on watching another blurry negative vision of a woman running around with a child in her hand probably. She watches the woman talking to that small child in that dark night with dogs and wolves howling in background. 

Mikasa started to fidget in her sleep as she watches further....

A gang of men was chasing that woman, she could hear sound of water flowing nearby....probably a river or something....

A Train ran across very fast just when she sees that man again who without thinking twice shoots the woman....

hiya anonie! i honestly have a lot of favourite fics because there are honestly a lot of amazing writers in the em community. even if they’ve stopped posting or aren’t in the fandom anymore, i always gotta show my support for them. but if you want me to go down with one fic, only one it’s gotta be:

A nearly fatally wounded Mikasa is tended to by a guilt-ridden Eren. The task leads to a conversation and chain of events that throws the nature of their relationship into question.

it’s an amazingly written fic, so perfectly in character, the writer has captured eren and mikasa‘s charcter so well to the t. it fits in the canon verse, it could even fit in within the current timeline if it wanted to but gosh ive read this fic too many times to count and i still cry every time i read it, honestly if you haven’t read touch i highly recommend you do.

the fic is from eren’s point of view and they literally grasped his mindset excellently. a few hidden gems that actually tie in with canon and mikasa’s play field of emotions is captured perfectly too. it’s so em like this fic could just be canon honestly — it’s an absolute gem and i can’t thank the writer enough for what they’ve done!
