Don’t care about the Snow series, just glad Kit and Sophie hate J/nsa to the point that it’ll never happen.

Never seen more sicker in the head people. What kinda of bullshit is this? What kinda of rude, blatant misinterpretation of everything canon is this? These people are high on the delusional juice, it's impossible to know if they're really serious about this shit.
1. Dany keeping Jon 'a prisoner': this one is laughable. Literally. First off, they're both politicians in a world where political hostages are commonly used, and you can't even call Jon that because she allowed him to talk his way through convincing her to let him leave, one way or the other, he even told her that "he is a king, so she doesn't tell him what to do". Damn, y'all need to rewatch that shit. Y'all underestimate Jon too much. He isn't a baby. He wasn't abused by Dany because she took his ship while they were two royals negotiating.
2. Use his people as leverage: Damn, this one is a stretch huh? Daenerys has never once threatned any of his people. All she did was make clear that, as a queen, she would not give him her dragons and her armies without him bending the knee...which, again, is a very common thing for their time setting. I take that threatening his people here is because she say she wouldn't help if he didn't make her queen which is even more laughable that y'all expect Daenerys to simply give away all her resources to him without question or negotiating. Even funnier, because some episodes later, sitting on a bed next to him while he desperately wants to hold her hand, she pledges to fight for him and his home without demading anything else and he is the one that decides to bend the knee, at his free will, and even when she questions herself, he assures that HE WANTS to make her his queen. Damn, must be hard living on illusions that don't even match show canon.
3. Asking him to keep a secret from his family: DAMN. AGAIN WITH THIS ONE? It's absolutely ridiculous how the blatantly dumb Jonsas are. Truly. And it's actually disgusting the way y'all villainize Dany for the simplest attempt of surviving. Daenerys asks Jon to keep a secret because she KNOWS what will happen if news that a male heir is alive got out. She knew people would attempt to murder her. She knew Sansa would play a part in it. And she wasn't wrong about any of it. Sansa was the one sharing the secret. Varys attempted to poison her. It happened. She was right, why are y'all still discussing this as if the canon didn't show she was absolutely right in being scared of that information and wanting it to be buried deep down? For her own life? Lol. And yet....so much for y'all calling her "abusive and manipulating" when he simply...refused. He told her no and he still told his family. And guess how she punished him? Doing absolutely nothing. Nothing happened to him or to his family. NADA. Again, y'all underestimate Jon too much.
4. Blamed Sansa and threatened to do the same to her: None of this is canon. She never blamed Sansa for anything. She said the absolute truth according to canon, in fact, she saw though Sansa's plans and she knew what would happen if she got hold of critical information that could get Dany killed and guess what? Sansa did exactly what Dany said she would. It happened. It was not 'blaming', it was simply...the truth. And if you calling the "threatening" to do the same to Sansa that absolute joke of dialogue where Dany is upset because a lady isn't showing respect to her, the ruling queen, which could endanger her rule and her life? Then, men, I don't know what to tell you...you shouldn't have watched this show, y'all seriously cannot contextualize anything. And if you talking about her "they don't get to choose" scene, then sucks to be you, taking that finale seriously (oh, everytime you take that finale seriously, please remember that even going on with the worst of ideas and most terrible of plotlines, D&D still probably didn't even know Jonsa was a thing).
My point here is that Jonsas should be extinct, never ever in my fandom life i've seen a more dumber group of people who purposely chose to ignore canon to favor their own baseless illusions.
It's been more than an year. Get over it. No, Dany did not abuse Jon. He absolutely enjoyed dicking her down. He was not abused because he was being a politician or because he was asked a favor. Making some edgy gifset to make yourselves feel better because deep down you know your ship is a failure if one interprets canon correctly isn't gonna change the facts.
Grow up and stop demonizing woman, an abuse survivor, because she stands in the way of your nonexistent ship. Your life you will be much better for it.
i'm sorry but i can't take it seriously when people say book jon wouldn't kill dany to protect his family or after what she did in kl.. yes, he absolutely would, even more firmly if anything
Why do I mock the jonsa?
This was a question I contemplated after receiving this ask while I writhed on my couch floating on a cloud of pink monthly uterine pain as I said a slow good bye to my high :( Mocking the takes of Jonsas (and Stansas) is fun, makes me laugh, is not a particularly time consuming hobby, is mobile-friendly, desktop-friendly, break-friendly, get-ready-with-me-friendly, but most importantly? It's absolutely 100% fucking cathartic. After years and years of fighting Jonsas (and Stansas) pushing their takes as not just a personal headcanon but actual canon and watching the unfamiliar/casual/newbie viewer or reader take these guys at their word? Or witnessing Jonsas trying to convince other fans out of canon takes in favour of Jonsa views -- particularly certain Jonsa views having nothing (initially) to do with Jonsa, ie. Pol!Jon, a take I find particularly horrendous due to its straight-up misogyny, nonsense, and transparency of intention? Something needed to lance my infected sloshing blistering boil of fandom frustration. Thus this journal :) Enjoy the ooze.
I tried to debate with these guys politely, reference book quotes/script direction/dialogue excerpts/interview snippets/etc. lay out my reasoning. In response, 29 times out of 30, I was insulted, berated, called names, accused of harassment for replying to their comments to me -- the works! So the first reason is ✨catharsis & venting ✨.
My second reason is ✨ sharing the bullshit I come across ✨ -- for the most part, Jonsa theories aren't very original. They're copied, the counter arguments are verbatim, and what you've seen from one Jonsa, you're 99.9% going to see argued from another. When you're debating a Jonsa, you're debating a set of pre-written arguments. So if you see a Jonsa in the wild yourself and they're closing in on a newbie about to take their first sip of the lemonsnow liquid ice kool-aid...? I mock to spread awareness <3 Some examples of Jonsas trying to convert people in the wild of Pol!Jon:

Yeah guys, Jon taking a page from Joffrey's book and sexually misleading, using, and abusing Dany before disposing of her after he steals from her what he wants is totally heroic from a certain side. It will completely come off that way in history. Yep. All because Dany wants to take back her family's dynasty like.... what, 98% percent of Westerosi nobles (including the Starks) want to....?

So, for me, it's not about "obsessively stalking and reading posts about characters you dislike" because I really like Jon. Really like Jon. Jon stan. What I don't like is whatever character Jonsas warp Jon into (Stark/Northern nationalist husband & personal bodyguard for Sansa Stark). I also like the characters Jonsas bash to prop Jonsa (Arya, Dany). As for Sansa, I don't go into her tag and I don't wish anything bad for her character (and I certainly don't hope she is sexually abused, used, mislead and disposed of). However, I do like to hold certain subfandoms accountable for the intellectual dishonesty of their arguments because what if somebody asks me for proof?

i'm sorry but i can't take it seriously when people say book jon wouldn't kill dany to protect his family or after what she did in kl.. yes, he absolutely would, even more firmly if anything
