A series in which Violet Evergarden somehow gets transported to Twisted Wonderland, and puts her scribe talents to use for the NRC students, helping them all out along the way.

Honestly? I feel like it really captures the feel of the actual anime. And it's gonna hold a special place in my heart, because I love Violet Evergarden, so much, and. there being fics that do it so much justice?? (with characters i adore?)

it just. feels really meaningful. and i loved it very very much

and id say you should give it a try, even if you havent seen violet evergarden

uh. there's a few spoilers ofc where she mentions stuff that happened, but to me, it never gets old to watch, so it doesnt really matter that much to me

and if you're new to it, i sure hope this inspires you to watch it yourself because its really beautiful.

is it better to be seen as the 'better' or 'worse' twin, constantly compared

or is it better to be seen as one person when you are two?

for one, in a world where people tend to be attracted to each other by looks. some people think that getting with one twin would also be getting with the other as they'd be 'sharing' (which. i mean if you're into that kind of thing good for you, i have no issues with that, but it is also still kind of creepy when you think that way without anyones permission yknow?)

and its just like. no? they're two people. yes they look the same (i dont know much about twins tho. idk if twins that dont look like each other are a thing or not) but they could have different dislikes, different likes, different dreams..

but then. if both twins act differently then each other, then its cause for comparison. like, 'ohh, why can't [] be as [] as their twin?' when you probably wouldn't do that for a pair of siblings (well. that's kind of a lie.. because they do still go 'oh, why can't you be as' uh 'mild-mannered as your [sibling]!')

and its just very suck-y. cause regardless, you're just kind of, idk viewed as an extension of your sibling? that they just kind of see you guys as the same thing and therefore can't help but draw comparisons.

anyway ive never had a twin so idk how it feels like to have one (id imagine its honestly just like having a sibling. except there's no 'older sibling-younger sibling'. i mean there still can be, whether its on whose more mature, or who was born first, but still. just. kinda equal. both on a middle ground of sorts?? maybe? idk. siblings fight.)

ive just read a stupidly high amount of fics with twins. (i swear there isn't all just 'evil twin that comes when reincarnated/past lives/time travel where mc is neglected but secretly op but everyone thinks it was the twin who also acts like a spoiled brat')

and honestly most of that is fred and george weasley. which a lot of fics tend to touch more on them being considered the 'same' to where they get the same presents and same things and that the people close to them don't notice any differences between them (except the protag, which makes them attached and adopt them as n honorary sibling, cause they feel very touched.)
