I’m not gonna lie, I find the reactions to my last post to be very encouraging. I think it’s safe to say that you guys will be seeing more headcanons and preferences from me. Maybe even fics as well. As always, my asks are open, so feel free to comment or suggest fics you’d like to see from me

Anyways, on with what y’all actually came here for

My Hugging Headcanons for the Casper Crew + Finn

Bruce Yamada

-expect bear hugs

-comes from a very openly affectionate family, so he likes to convey his feelings through physical affection

-he’ll keep you there for a minute, too, prepare yourself for that

-hella cliche, can and will pick you up and twirl you around if he hasn’t seen you in a while

-I head canon that Bruce isn’t all that great with words, like, there’s basic compliments and sentences, but I feel like he’s the type that believes that love can’t be expressed with words. So he’ll hold you and imagine that all of his love is being poured into a hug

Robin Arellano

-even tho i previously said that he doesn’t care who’s looking and he’ll be as affectionate with you as he pleases, I feel like that might not apply to hugs

-robin is very awkward with hugs but he likes touching you, so he’ll wrap an arm around your shoulders when you walk together

-if you aren’t and are just standing around, he’ll turn you to face him and just grab your hips, just keeps his hands there

-he actually loves putting his hands on your hips because he likes that he can be openly affectionate with you and still look cool

-he does give full-on hugs, but he feels like those are intimate, too intimate to be shared with the prying eyes of others. He’s a pretty small guy and he knows it, so to him, hugs are protective and private. Robin’s real hugs are very special

Billy “Paperboy” Showalter

-a lot like Robin, Paperboy isn’t one to hug you in public

-it’s not an intimacy thing, or a PDA thing, he could not give less of a shit about that

-but he correlates hugs to cuddles, so in his mind, if he’s gonna hug you, its gonna be an hours-long affair

-in public, if he wants a hug, but can’t cuddle you, he’ll just wrap an arm around your shoulder by its the closest he can get to having what he wants until y’all are alone

-when you’re alone, whether it’s at his house or yours, and he wants a hug, he’ll just drag you to a comfortable spot and y’all will cuddle until bodily needs overtake the sweet comfort of each other’s embrace, but seriously, clear your schedule bc you will not be moving for a very long time, don’t even try it

Griffin Stagg

-hugging is the most extreme form of PDA this boy can handle

-to him, hugging can be platonic and is ordinary to the public eye, so he doesn’t mind it, but he will end it if he feels like y’all are being watched

-his favorite way to hug you is to wrap his arms around your waist and across your lower back, which leaves room for you wrap your arms around your shoulders

-griffin knows he isn’t exactly the most affectionate boyfriend, whether its in public or not, so giving you hugs makes him feel like a better romantic partner

-its sort of silly tho bc in private, its almost as if he has trouble detaching himself from you. He’ll give you a hug, and then do an awkward shuffle to wherever he wants to go with you still in his arms. It makes him blush when you bring it up to him, so he’ll use his body to guide you to a bed or couch, body slam you, then leave as if it was nothing

Vance Hopper

-no

-c’mon, you already know

-fine, but if he did hug you, it would be so totally low effort that it doesn’t even seem like a hug to other people

-he likes to shuffle up behind you and wrap one of his arms across your chest

-it honestly looks kind of threatening because of the way he’s positioned with an arm caging you to his side and his mouth very close to your ear, it looks like he’s threatening you or whispering malicious things to you if not for your pleased smile and the fact that he’s not actively yelling at anyone

Finn Blake

-like Bruce, he likes to wrap his arms around you

-in public, he’ll maneuver you to tuck your head into his chest or neck and sway you until he decides he’s had his fill for the moment

-sometimes if you’re just standing around by your lockers or the Grab n’ Go, he’ll have you curled into his side with an arm around you, casual and unassuming

-in private, especially in his house, he likes to tuck his head into your neck instead. For a very long time, his home wasn’t a very safe and happy place for him and the changes that came with escaping the Grabber didn’t magically fix his bad memories of his childhood. So he’ll curl into you and find comfort in your soft warmth. A good amount of the time, private hugs end up turning into cuddle sessions where he lays onto top of you with his head on your chest so he can listen to your heartbeat

Trying to stay consistent with my writing bc i have so many ideas and so little time that i forgot to mention a few things

a. I’ve aged up all of the characters to between 14-16, regardless of what the movie says (let’s face it, their canon ages either don’t make sense or have a lot of speculation behind them)

b. i will NOT be writing any sort of NSFW fics/headcanons/imagines/preferences for any of the people in the black phone. Not only are ALL of the Grabbed Victims minors, but also ALL of the actors portraying them are minors. NSFW in this case means sex or nudity of the characters I am writing about. I will ABSOLUTELY NOT be writing any of the sort for them or about them so do not ask. just enjoy what i do write

My Dating Headcanons for the Casper Crew + Finn

Bruce Yamada

-Every teenage fantasy comes to life on the dates he takes you on

-Pretty cliche and stereotypical, but in a good way. Spending time with him is always so romantic

-Expect a movie, a nice candle-lit dinner, maybe dancing or a relaxed stroll to end the night

-You two would most definitely be high-school sweethearts. Like, Bruce is always putting in the most effort and literally everyone notices it

-He just wants y’all’s dates to be perfect, to be everything you’ve ever dreamed of. He wants to impress you and make you swoon. He would straight up try to serenade you but he doesn’t have any musical talent. Bruce is more of a physical being, but he won’t t let that stop him from romancing you. Most definitely asks his mom and sister for help

Robin Arellano

-Very hard to tell when y’all started dating bc the dates he takes you on are pretty lowkey; like, things y’all did as friends

-Yeah, he’d take you to the drive-in, buy you a burger and milkshake, maybe a few things at the Grab n’ Go

-Homie was straight up flabbergasted when you bucked up the courage to ask him out on a date, like, he thought y’all were already dating. It was honestly kinda like that one Spider-Man meme for this one

- Unlike Bruce, Robin can and will serenade you, you know this boy knows all of your favorite romantic songs and he will play his guitar while singing to you wherever you are. He feels really bad about the miscommunication

-Not gonna lie, you asking him out on a date made him incredibly insecure. Like, he’s spent weeks thinking y’all were going steady as a couple bc of all the dates he took you on. Then he finds out you were incredibly insecure bc you thought he didn’t like you like that. You better believe he’s taking you on a real date, flowers and everything

Billy “Paperboy” Showwalter

-Paperboy likes to stay active when on dates with you, he’s an active guy, maybe not athletic, but very active

-He loves the idea of doing things with you; he’s very open about it, too, straight-forward tells you what type of dates he’ll take you on

-Now, don’t be imagining hiking or surfing or anything like that; Paperboy’s definition of a good date is a picnic where you talk about books or a scenic bike ride that ends with him buying you ice cream

-He’d also like dates where you complete puzzles together or other sorts of crafts

-Honestly, he’d consider literally every hangout as a date. As your devoted boyfriend, what else is he to expect? Paperboy loves spending time with you, even if he doesn’t always show it, you can always tell bc he is always around. (Imagine “Life In The Dreamhouse” Ken in the 70’s and you’ve got Paperboy)

Griffin Stagg

-He likes dates with a deeper meaning, or something that the two of you can discuss at length at a later time

-In Griffin’s eyes, this is a great way of keeping you both engaged in your dates, even at later dates. It makes the dates more memorable and it makes him happy to see you get as excited as he is

-Typical dates with him involve museums or some sort exhibit; and as soon as it ends, he’ll be ringing you up to hyper-actively chatter your ear about it

-When Griffin first asked you out, you thought he wanted you to help him with a school/academic related project. You agreed to go bc you had a huge crush on him. Once you agreed to “help” him, he frantically corrected you, making sure you were still interested

-He really does put a lot of effort into planning out your dates. Actually, he’s usually the one to plan out your dates regularly. You obviously give input and he’ll always consider what you might like to do. He’s one of those dorks that will try to make you blush by whispering corny pick up lines in your ear while you’re admiring a work or exhibit. He knows them all already, anyway

Vance Hopper

-hmmm

-Not gonna sugarcoat it, this man does not have a romantic bone in his body; maybe some bone marrow, or a clump of romantic cells, or gallbladder

-He tries okay? Seriously, he does. Vance has a great memory and he makes sure to remember or even write down everything you tell him about yourself

-Would not admit to it, though, so don’t even try. Just pretend to be surprised that he’s gotten all of your favorite snacks/drinks/foods along with your favorite movies. It means a lot to him that his reputation fools you

-Out of all of the Grabbed, it means the most to him that you love him. So every single date is about him doing whatever you want - as long as its not in the public eye. Vance loves you a whole lot and just doesn’t know how to express it, or if he wants to. He’ll always treat you right, though, so you never have to worry about that

Finn Blake

-Like Vance, the dates usually revolve around you, he is happy to do whatever you want

-He will not notice if you occasionally end up doing things that fall more into his line of interest than yours. He’s happy to be wherever as long as you are

-Finn is confident that you’ll get married one day. He will spend every date, nay, every day, proving to you why that is. His only goal is making sure you’re happy and that you feel loved by him

-Even if the date isn’t an inherently romantic idea, like going to a rock concert or escape room, he’ll put a romantic spin on it to make it seem more “couple-like”

-One time, you insisted that he plan out a date all by himself after your friends made cracks about Finn’s lack of a backbone and how they doubted he put much thought into your time together. He took you to a fair and y’all went dancing. He’s surprisingly very light on his feet and it was a very memorable night

Penelope: Not an hour after you told me that I was special to you, you were mocking me behind my back with your real friends. I was looking for Eloise when I heard you all laughing at me. Did you think I’d never find out? Perhaps it is your opinion that I am such an undesirable wallflower, I should be grateful for the pity you call friendship.

so, like, i’ve thought about this before. i didn’t think it was an actual thing bc of how it is, so i was content with my silly little fantasies. thank you for bringing it to life.

That Pivotal Moment

Bumble is a ridiculous word.  Marinette did not bumble.  Bungle?  Okay, yes fine, she bungled things up a lot.  Stumble? Of course.  Stutter?  Obviously. Flounder?  All the time.  But she did not bumble.  And yet, that was the only word she could think of to describe her current behavior; unable to focus, forgetting what she meant to gather from the cabinets or desk, running into the corner of her desk… repeatedly.  Her hips were going to be black and blue by the end of the afternoon.

She was bumbling about her office.  Had been all day.  But no matter how hard she tried to force her mind to focus on color samples or color schemes or sketching or even, God forbid, invoices and taxes, she couldn’t.

She shook her head yet again and willed herself to focus on the color swatches in front of her.  She needed to pick fabric for her latest commission.  She didn’t have time to bumble.  She flipped through the swatches more aggressively than necessary until she landed on a beautiful shade of blush.  Her fingers stilled instantly as images started flashing through her mind; lips on hers, soft touches, gentle caresses, feeling like she was floating and spinning at the same time.

The smile that had found its way to her lips at the memories, slowly fell as the heart stuttering memories turned to heart shattering memories and heart cataclysming potential futures.  The possibility of losing a boyfriend she could survive.  She had before, she would again.  Some might have left her heart bruised, some left it battered, but she survived. But losing one of her best friends, someone she loved so deeply he seemed to be etched into her being… that she wouldn’t survive.
