i think a large portion of good authors are a little plural simply because accurately and consistently modeling the internalities of several dozen well-fleshed-out characters is a skill that skews heavily toward people who are well-practiced in internally modeling multiple distinct internalities. and well. to be honest. i think this means becoming a good author can make you a little plural, as well.
