Yeah, that's the heart of it. Raimundo hates Chase because he recognizes whatever Chase intends to do with Omi.

Especially since the first time we see Raimundo taking personal umbrage with Chase is during the New Order, after it's clear Chase has some sort of interest in Omi and only Omi.

Raimundo got mildly annoyed by Chase "sipping tea" the first time he fought the monks, but he seems incensed by Chase singling out Omi.

When the other monks are around, Chase and Omi act more discreet and pretend to be less close than they really are. But Raimundo still sees enough to recognize a pattern, because of his history with Wuya.

Omi and Chase had already starting forging a mutual bond a little before this, but this episode marks the first time Omi alludes to that with the other monks. And Raimundo goes on to emphatically try to shut it down this time, and any other time Omi suggests it. He's the one who's most emphatic about telling Omi not to honor any promises to Chase.

The only time he lightens up is when the Spider situation forced Chase and Omi to work together by circumstance, and even then, he still glared daggers at Chase the whole time. He just let Omi know that the situation was understandable, deliberately waiting until after Chase was out of earshot.

Raimundo's the one who gets mad that Chase is out of the Sphere of Yun, and when Chase makes a veiled comment to Omi about the matter between them not being settled, Raimundo is the only one who bites back that there's nothing to settle, "because Omi already beat Chase fair and square".

He runs over to question it when he sees Chase helping Omi get the yo-yo back, Raimundo tries to convince Heylin!Omi to turn against Chase, Raimundo leaps up a cliff to try to punch Chase in the face when he comes back for Omi. He'll race across a field to physically get between Chase and Omi as a barrier between them.

And during all that, Raimundo nearly gets bitten in half, and he's in tears when they have to retreat and leave Omi behind, which definitely cements Raimundo's hatred for him.

Raimundo's approach was ultimately a bit ineffective and almost counterproductive with regards to Omi. The nature of Chase and Omi's complex, two-way relationship of mutual mind games and exchanged favors wasn't quite the same as Wuya's opportunistic decision to take advantage of Rai's temporary desire to hurt the other monks while he was in his feelings. Chase is manipulating Omi, but it couldn't really be dealt with the same tactics that Raimundo wished someone had used to help him before.

But it's plain to see that Raimundo is trying to protect Omi from what he perceives as the same sort of manipulation Raimundo was subject to.
