a screenshot of text convo between Grant Emerson and Jesse Chambers: P1: Jessp P1: Jesse I have a problem P2: Are you okay?! P1: So you remember how Vandal Savage injected me with DNA from like. 50 different ppl? P2: yes, Grant. That was a pretty big thing. P1: And you remember how Pieter mentioned I might eventually get some of their powers? P2: oh boy P1: also how a few of my donors fly?
A screenshot of the continuing conversation: P2: I don’t like where this is going. Where are you??? P1: I’m P1: I’m in a tree

How I picture Grant and company figuring this out tbh

“#reading revival era (70's-80's) stuff right now and i'm getting a bit frustrated at some of it #especially how loveless the parent-child relationships feel in infinity inc but i haven't read much of that yet #when will golden age jsa return from war #jsa #dc comics “

Ikr????!! Fixating on the kids for a minute:

Setting aside parent- child relationships where they are contextually strained for in- universe reasons (Alan meeting the twins as adults, Carter and Hector growing distant in the wake of Shayera’s death, etc.) . . . You can’t tell me the golden-age version of the JSA wouldn’t be SOO invested in their kids’ safety and success- look at Dinah! Sure, they’re hands off once she’s grown, but they also obsessed over her training and relentlessly fussed in most media! Heck, look at younger heroes that AREN’T their literal children- Barry and freaking SYLVESTER???

…anyway, that sort of writing to just handwave the next gen’s independence is a HUGE pet peeve 😅

I DO think it would be so funny to retcon/rewrite that so that like. The crotchety old folk spent the majority of Infinity Inc spying on the ‘kids’ out of concern lmao. Fun little family drama reveal

I think my ideal JSA characterisation is like, mean but in a "take no shit" kinda way. They're Justified Assholes (most of the time, of course they'll lose their temper every now and again). So, I guess pessimistic takes where they can't fucking communicate with each other and seem to resent each other annoy me.

Firmly convinced that Scott makes the kids call Logan when he leaves the team for the 28273th time and he comes running at full speed like that cat mama video

You can donate to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund for as little as $1.00.

A donation screen from the PCRF with fifty cents typed into the donation box. There is a red outline around the box and red text below it that reads: Amount must be at least $1.00 [USD].

There is a fee you can choose to apply to cover processing.

A screenshot of the PCRF donation screen. There is text next to a checked box that reads: I want to make an additional donation to cover online processing fees, so that my entire contribution goes to The Palestine Children's Relief Fund. ($0.34)

Which if you choose to do leaves you with a total of ~$1.35 (USD) depending on the type of card you have.

A screenshot from the PCRF donation process with text that reads:

Amount: $1.34 USD
($1.36 USD for AMEX cards / $1.34 USD for Mastercard or Discover cards)

PCRF has a score of 97% on Charity Navigator.

Adults and children alike are currently dying in Palestine due to starvation. (World Health Organization Link)

The Gaza Strip is one of two places in the entire world that is categorized as Phase 5 (the highest phase) on the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification scale.

So even if you think it isn't enough, remember that donating even as little as $1.35 helps! It's $1.35 they wouldn't have had otherwise. So donate if you can. 🇵🇸
