One year ago today, Ophelia came home❤️ I love her literally more than anything. This is how she slept on me our first night. What a year we’ve had together.

Your musings are always lovely pieces. The recent post about the fog and remembering where you were before hit particularly hard; there's something both beautiful and tragic about memories of places that we want so badly to make work for us, but just can't. Bittersweet for sure.
Thanks for writing so often, sometimes seeing someone else talk about it makes me feel less alone.
This means a lot 💕 Thank you

I love the snow. Most of my birthdays have been spent up in the mountains, and every time I get the gift of watching snow fall. This weekend was no different.

My sister got me this Eno Hammock for my birthday last year. When I was living in Greenville, there was a soccer recreation area with a few trees. That was the only “park” or outdoor space near my apartment within a 20 minute radius. So I would string up and read there.
This weekend it was warm enough to unpack it. Now, my apartment is 4 minutes from the pier, where I can string up and read. I’ll take this neighborhood over the other any day.

Another day of beautiful exploration along the North Inlet region in Georgetown county. A 6 mile round trip to the southern-most tip starting in South DeBordieu Beach.

Birding adventures. This time I got to picture this beautiful Bald Eagle at Huntington Beach State Park. What a treat!
