This Exchange Is So Good And Funny And Gay. The Line Delivery Is Great And The Way Morgan's Eyes Dart

Reid, a brunette man in a dark top stands outdoors inside a plastic tent. His hair and clothes are wet and he's holding his arms slightly out to the side. Beside him, someone in an orange protective suit sprays him with a hose. White subtitles read: "I'm about to get naked so they can scrub me down."
Morgan, a man with a shaved head wearing a purple shirt, stands separated from Reid by the plastic tent. He nods, raising his brows as his gaze darts slightly downwards. He opens his mouth as if saying "oh." White subtitles read: "Is that something you really want to see?"

this exchange is so good and funny and gay. the line delivery is great and the way morgan's eyes dart down a little is hilarious. but i just can't laugh at this scene because i have worms in my brain.

all i can think about in this scene is how incredibly dehumanizing this would feel. for anyone, but especially for reid, given the goalpost incident*. i wonder if that crossed morgan's mind as wellβ€”he leaves entirely when he could turn his back.

*is there a better way to refer to that? i'd refer to it as "his SA" but a. a decent number of people would probably assume i was referring to the theory about his dad and b. not a lot of people seem to see the goalpost incident as SA

Hello,, I'm Abdallah Alanqar, originally from Palestine but cu… Abdallah Alanqar needs your support for Helping Ahmed's Family: Escaping

Amidst the devastating conflict engulfing Gaza,

I, Ahmed Alanqer, aged 34, find myself navigating life alongside my wife, Dina Almnasra, and our four beloved children: Zeina, aged 7, Eileen, aged 6, Yamen, aged 4, and our newborn baby girl born amidst the current chaos of war.

I worked as an accountant in a stable company until the escalating winds of war disrupted my professional life and ravaged our home and goods warehouse. Fleeing northward, we refuge in makeshift tents in Deir al-Balah.

Life is not easy for them, as fears of healthcare shortages and harsh conditions surround them mercilessly.

My children suffer from diseases and long for their previous days and schools, while the harsh realities of living in war unfold in all its severity.

Helping Ahmed's Family: Escaping War To A New Life

Our daily reality is harsh and unforgiving, surrounded by fears of healthcare shortages and the brutal conditions of displacement. Our children face illnesses and yearn for the stability of their schools and the comfort of their former lives, while the grim realities of war unfold around us."In this brutal conflict, my children have endured unimaginable fear and uncertainty.

Their education has been disrupted for over 9 months, depriving them of the chance to learn and grow as they once dreamed. Gone are the toys and games that once brought them joy, replaced by the stark reality of displacement and constant upheaval," I sadly reflect.

Helping Ahmed's Family: Escaping War To A New Life

We've experienced repeated displacements, facing increased health risks due to weakened immunity and the challenges of maintaining basic hygiene amidst the chaos of war.

My wishes that they find support and assistance to escape from these difficult situations.

Ahmed's current goal is to get his family out of Gaza to start a new life in safety and peace. The costs of travel make this dream unattainable, as travel costs $5000 for adults and $2500 for each child, in addition to accommodation and travel expenses.

We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure our family's safety.

Together, we can support Ahmed and his family in amount, will have a significant impact on the lives of these children who are looking forward to a new chance to start over amid the harsh realities of war.
