I love that the canonical reason Edd is in the NW is because Yoren just straight up lied to him about the whole celibacy thing and just told him that women like a man in uniform and so horny fucking Edd was just like “say no more”

i really actually hope that jon isn’t trueborn. idk why but its midly upsetting to think that he’s a trueborn targ because then it almost feels like it ruins his whole character and everything yk??? finding his own places in the nw, moving up in ranks to become lord commander and leading the free folk south could all suddenly explained with “its because he’s a targaryen!!” 

being is bastard is literally MOST of jon’s character and why he is the way he is and why he does the things he does. it’s most of his struggles, especially in the earlier books, and where both his personal doubts and determination comes from. why take that away?
