Pizzahead misses the time when the Tower was not destroyed. By the fame of the mascot and the carefree days when he could make all sorts of things, and there was a roof over his head.

Fake Peppino runs away from the time when his abilities were tested by scientists in the laboratory. From feeling worthless and unnecessary to anyone. He runs away from the feeling that he is someone's carbon copy (or property).

That scene from the first Shrek with the roasting of rats over a campfire, but these two are homeless after the collapse of the tower.

FP: Rat

Ph: *almost choked on what I heard* (wtf did he cook the rat SO GOOD?)

FP: ?... Is it bad?

Ph: No-no

FP: *pokes his nose, hinting at a frown on his face*

Ph: It's disgusting, I don't argue. But somehow you made it better.

FP: *beaming with joy, juicy biting fried flesh*

Ph: (after all, what else is left when you don't have a home or a job) *continues to eats rat meat, watching the wreckage of the tower in the distance*

There needs to be more Pizzahead/Fake Peppino imo. Ok I know it's a weirdly specific pairing but hear me out: Pizzahead obviously has a fixation on Peppino, so what if it was a rivalry fueled (on Pizzahead's side) by Gay Feelings

Except problem is, Peppino absolutely does not reciprocate Pizzahead's feelings for him, he just (platonically) hates the guy's guts, no secret gay obsession about it or anything. So Pizzahead tries to latch onto Fake Peppino as an outlet for his confusing feelings about regular Peppino, and Fake Peppino goes along with it because Pizzahead spends time with him and he likes the attention

Eventually, Fake Peppino gets a legit crush on Pizzahead, and like a true gentleman, he tries to woo him the best he can. Pizzahead eventually realizes that the actual Peppino would never even give him the time of day, let alone try to romance him like this, and he begins to appreciate Fake Peppino as not just a Peppino stand-in, but as his own person...and he decides he wants to be with him too :)

Then they become the weirdest couple on the block and kiss and hold hands. Fake Peppino is the kinda guy to show up at Pizzahead's door with a box of chocolates and a rose held between his teeth and Pizzahead is the kinda guy who floats around on cloud nine (quite literally, with cartoon logic) behind Fake Peppino wherever he goes, with big ol heart eyes and everything

And real Peppino is happy that Fake Peppino has found love and seems to be happy with Pizzahead but by god he does not understand it and is literally losing sleep over the implications that their relationship started out as Pizzahead trying to use Fake Peppino as a substitute for himself. Also this would never happen but there's always the threat of Peppino absolutely obliterating Pizzahead if he were to break Fake Peppino's heart or slight him in any way. Like he will barely tolerate Pizzahead because he's friends with Fake Peppino but he is ready at a moment's notice to straight up kill him if he finds out he's not treating his clone buddy right

Anyways this is my vision. I might write more fluff of them in the upcoming future because they're honestly such a hilarious but cute pairing to me
