James 2 really slaps

I just read James 2 in the Bible and it basically said respect the poor, eat the rich and just having faith without actually doing anything to help people is stupid.

Quick tip for anyone who doesn’t know this already

You can wear a sweater over a simple dress and it’ll look super fantastic. This is especially handy when you wanna wear a skirt but you don’t own any. To anyone who didn’t realize this because they normally wear pants or something, you’re welcome. This probably works with other shirts as well but I haven’t tested it because why would I wear a non-sweater when I could wear a sweater?

- Loving the Lord God and all his creations (humans, plants, animals).

- Trying your best to do what is right and good.

- Thinking about all the wonderful things in life.

- Not judging others harshly. We’re all trying our best.

- Celebrating life and thanking God for all the good things.

- Talking to the Holy Spirit in prayer.

- Not only praying to ask for things, but also to give thanks.

- Praying for anyone and everyone and blessing them.

- Being kind, honest, optimistic, hopeful and at peace.

- Remembering that even when you’re scared that  God works for the good of those who love him.

- Not being hateful to anyone, no matter who they are or what they’ve done.

- Equality, we are all people, we all fail, we all are made in God’s image.

- Donating to charities and trying to help people where/when you can.

- Keeping your good deeds to yourself unless someone asks. It’s not about you.

- Giving glory to God for everything. All goodness and love comes from him.

- Trying to love others like god loves, unconditionally.

- Taking care of your health and soul. 

- Be proud of your talents and use them for good and to glorify God.

- Don’t be afraid to try new things because they may also be a gift.

- Laugh and share the things that make you laugh. 

- Don’t hurt kids and help them be safe. 

- Respect Angels but don’t worship them. They are messengers of God.

Not sure if this is how making a new core works but I like this. This is based on what I’ve learned God wants his people to be like and I made it broad so people can easily mix it with other things.

Ok so you know how people like to portray (using Kankri/Karkat as my example) Alternian Kankri/Sufferer as the dad of Beforus Kankri and Alternian Karkat? Well what if Beforan Karkat is the grandfather? Can you imagine this grumpy old man playing with his grumpy grandkids? It would work the same for the others too, so like Beforan Nepeta is the grandmother, Beforan Tavros is the grandfather, etc

It’s kind of sad...

It seems that as time’s gone by and our cultures have developed, we lost so much that was good. Don’t get the wrong idea, there were horrible things we left behind as well and that’s good. What’s sad is, we also lost some of the good things. I wish I could live in a world that was a mixture of the good things from today and the good things from the past.
