There's nothing like being in a theatre that's completely blacked out, where you can literally only see someone if they have their phone on, the director and some other actors figuring out how a complicated song is going to work, while you and the other background singers create a halfway improvised dance for the previously mentioned song, after having played ring-around-the-rosy around an unwilling participant who earlier tried to run away from the theatre because she didn't want to sing the high notes, while you wait for your cues.
the AIB fandom is so interesting to be in right now because it's fairly small (in comparison to some other fandoms I'm a part of) and season two just came out which means that the fanmade content is constantly changing and developing.
like, if I filter the fics in AO3 by bookmarks or kudos today, I won't get the same results next week because the fandom's having a big growth and isn't as well established as other fandoms, which is really cool to me cause I'm used to old fandoms where there isn't much variation in the top fics, common headcanons, AU's, and tropes.
