Marriage is a great blessing, but at times can also be a great trial. The difference between the two depends on the Presence -or- Elimination of SIN and there are three simple ways to do this.
First is affirming each other by the simple but powerful words of “I LOVE YOU.” When we pause to remember how special your spouse is and honor them with the same heart and emotion as you did the first time you said that to each other, it is a regenerative balm to the bond of your relationship and refreshes anew the LOVE between you. As the Apostle Peter wrote:
“Above all, love each other deeply, Because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
Remember…saying “I love you” keeps love fresh and new!
Next, when we sincerely say “I’M SORRY,” the grace of God will fall over the problem and bring a healing balm of forgiveness over a difficult situation. Every time you say “I’m sorry,” it strengthens the covenant between both of you and does not allow bitterness and resentment to enter in. It is like a soothing, cool summer breeze that reminds you that you truly love each other and causes you to enjoy the fruit of restoration and blessing.
Lastly marriage is meant to always 'Be There' for each other just as the vow you made to “nourish and cherish” each other just like Christ does for us. It’s a matter of being consciously aware of each other’s needs asking, “HOW CAN I HELP YOU?” A stable marriage requires us to have open lines of communication with PATIENCE by listening attentively and reacting without irritation. This is something most of us need to work on. There is no other relationship as intimate as marriage and for the sake of it, we must be willing to be vulnerable to expose our heart, to share our weaknesses and to ask for help from each other whenever it is needed.
If you are married (or plan to be) keep these three things in mind. When you do, a marriage full of love for your spouse - and your spouse’s love for you - will resonate with the love and grace of Christ centered between you.

The first is where Jesus calls Peter to step OUT in faith of a boat in the midst of a raging sea to safety towards Him, and the second is where God pleads for people to step INTO a boat that would save their lives from a coming storm.
BOTH involved a storm, and BOTH required STEPPING OUT IN FAITH. The small boat is the life we live, the storm is the passage of life, and the ark is the rescue from the storm once our small boat is overcome by the storm.
You see, as today’s title says, all of us must STEP AWAY of what we THINK will save us and STEP TOWARDS what appears to be foolish, but in the end remains your only true salvation. In both stories, lack of faith met their demise, but safety comes to those that keep their eye looking for their deliverance and STEP OUT IN FAITH.
Friend, in both cases you have to make a choice! Will you step out in faith FROM 'the boat' you 'think' will save you TO the only true boat that really can save you, and that is Jesus Christ? When you do, your eternal deliverance is secure.

![If You Were To Ask Most People, Why Will You Be Going To Heaven? The Answer Is Universally Because I](https://64.media.tumblr.com/be47afb775c06c3b040bfa8fb476d771/34d492ab30845bff-e1/s500x750/05cf56d87cec6b99095180a4f6fd14dfd6ab0857.jpg)
If you were to ask most people, “Why will you be going to heaven?” the answer is universally “Because I am a good person.” In theory that sounds reasonable and logical because if ‘God is Good’ and ‘I Am Good’ everything should be OK, right? Everyone knows about the ‘Golden Rule’ and most assume that should comprise all that Christ taught and all that is required.
However here is where most people go wrong. Yes, of course, being a good person is always an admirable goal. We all need to treat others as we would be treated, to be kind, generous, and respectful of others and leave the world a little better than we found it, and by all means if you are living your life like that you are on a good path. Leading and leaving a life of good works is a worthy earth-life mission, but it is not an eternal-life saving mission.
Yes, God indeed wants us to lead honorable lives, but it is not high moral standards or good works that justifies you being before God in heaven:
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the GIFT OF GOD- not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 “He (God) saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, might become heirs having the hope eternal life.” Titus 3:5-7
You see, it is not by what we DO that gets us into heaven, it is by who we ARE IN CHRIST. You cannot earn your way into heaven. It is by God’s GRACE that you are saved. So how do you that? Happily the answer is simple.
If you have not done so, ask God to forgive you of your sins. Make and live your life for Christ as your Lord and Saviour. There is no “work” involved, except the work Christ already did on the cross to cleanse you of your sin. Will you receive that gift today?

![Have You Noticed That The Wordsinis Rarely Ever Used Today And Simply Ignored? The Question Is Why, And](https://64.media.tumblr.com/58491c33571c83300bda8dcae4eb637f/652516936d414449-b3/s500x750/987e8ac666733665e8757b6dabc9bc1e26f5bf6b.jpg)
Have you noticed that the word “sin” is rarely ever used today and simply ignored? The question is why, and the answer is because this world has fallen so far away from God’s Law that we’ve become anesthetized to it. It’s time for us to take a look at it!
Sin is anything contrary to God’s moral law and is any action that harms the relationship we have with God or with another person. It’s choosing to act in any way that pulls us away from God just as it did when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Consequently, their disobedience caused us to inherit their sinful nature. From the very beginning, God designed us to respond to Him in a way that is in agreement with His nature, but sin breaks that connection - refuses that gift - and rejects God.
Since all sin is the rejection of God and His authority, sin automatically excludes us from His presence. But the good news is that when we come to the Lord Jesus to forgive us with a true repentant heart, we are forgiven, and a sense of freedom is released inside our souls. In other words, we have a brand-new clean slate on which to live a righteous life in God’s eyes. You see, when we give our hearts to Christ, the Holy Spirit indwells in us causing our sin nature to lose its grasp making us no longer its slave.
My friend, our human nature is weak causing us to be tempted, but we must fight sin as long as we live in this world. Thanks be to to Jesus Christ who died to take the place of your sin and mine so that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence knowing that coming to God and confessing our sins will allow us to renew our relationship with Him.
If you have never come to Jesus and asked for forgiveness of your sins, pray this prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you right now with all that is within me asking you to forgive me for my sins. Please wash them all away and help me to live my life pleasing in your sight from this day forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have you made an investment for your immortal future? While planning to secure your mortal future through IRAs and other savings, your money cannot and will not secure or guarantee your entrance into eternity – but Jesus Christ can! There is just one thing you need to do…
God’s IRA for YOU is the Immortal Resurrection Assurance plan that goes far beyond the end of your life on earth. Best of all it is free and no-cost to you because it was paid for you by the sacrifice of the precious blood of Christ when he died for your sins on the cross.
The good news is that you don’t have to save for this IRA, but you DO need to simply Believe This And Receive Your Heavenly IRA by praying the following prayer:
Heavenly Father, I confess that no matter how good I think I am, I cannot enter into eternity without your IRA of redemption through Christ. I also confess that I am a sinner and I need the redemption of Jesus’ blood that will cover and forgive me of my sins. I promise to be faithful and obedient to you always. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
