Life Is Full Of Choices. At Some Point We All Have To Make A Decision To Do Something Or Not Do Something.

Life is full of choices. At some point we all have to make a decision to do something or not do something. In some cases it doesn’t matter, but in others it can be literally life changing.
Going grocery shopping today or tomorrow is minor, but major decisions like deciding to accept a marriage proposal or to agree to a job on the other side of the country are literally life changing. In both those cases if you don’t give an answer to the interested party, the decision will be made for you.
Likewise, if you have a plane ticket for a flight leaving today and you cannot decide if you want to go or not, come departure time the plane will leave without you - andthat decision will automatically be made for you.
Our ticket and final destination to eternity is the same way. You can choose to serve and obey the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - the Holy Almighty God of the Bible - or not. If you make a decision to accept a ticket to be on that flight, when the time comes for your departure, you will be on your way to an eternal destination in heaven, but if you do NOT decide to board on God’s rescue flight of salvation, then that decision will be made for you. At that point, there are no later flights and once you miss it - you miss it - and there is no other way.A non-decision has just become your decision.
Making a non-decision to believe in salvation in Christ is exactly this way. Jesus said that that he was the only way to heaven (John 14:6) - there are no alternate flights, roads, trains, taxis or buses. Choose today whom you will serve (Joshua 24:15) Decide to follow Christ. If you have not made that decision, make it TODAYorthat decision will be made for you.

The iconic comedian George Carlin often derided the Bible by saying whenever there was something that seemed a bit wacky, he explained it in a mocking tone saying, “Well…It’s MYSTERY.” While a humorous tag line, it raises an interesting question.
Does that mean that because we don’t understand something, therefore it must be UNTRUE?!?
That was the dilemma Sir Isaac Newton faced after discovering the principle of gravity. He proved scientifically it existed, but did not know HOW it worked, and today we STILL don’t understand how it works, yet we all depend upon it! Does that mean gravity is untrue?
Likewise, just because there are parts of the Bible that are not understandable doesn’t mean the entire book is a false fable of fabrications.
The Bible says that all scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16) and that God cannot lie (Titus 1:2), so given that, while we may not totally understand, we can totally trust it is true.
Are you open to trusting God at His Word, even if you do not fully understand it?

One morning while eating breakfast, I looked outside the kitchen window and saw my husband sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee reading his Bible. This comforted me with a wonderful feeling knowing that my husband loves the Lord with all his heart and lives his life as a godly man.
Seeing this helps me as a woman to feel safe because 1 Peter 3:7 says that husbands are to treat their wives delicately and with honor. I can think of no greater blessing for a woman than to have a godly husband that lives and practices living his life towards her in that way.
Ladies, choosing your life-long mate is the most significant decision that you will ever make. While loving that person is important, do not be fooled by the emotion of romance, but first seek the answer to the question, “Is This Man GOD’S WILL For MY LIFE?” Seek the LORD’s divine guidance that His Will be done, and not your own by listening to guidance from the Holy Spirt to know for absolute certainty the right path.
When you do you will be blessed with a marriage of Love and a house of PEACE.

urveyors use a simple method to determine if a line is true by lining up three stakes. If all three are perfectly aligned, then the line measured was guaranteed to be perfectly true. This same principle applies to knowing God’s will and truth for us in our lives.
Likewise, when God’s Word, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and a deep conformation in our own spirit are in agreement, then we can be assured that what is being evaluated is true.
Friend, when trying to understand God’s Word, or attempting to determine the right decision in any situation, simple line up these three guideposts and you will always arrive at the right answer.

Everyone —and everything — has an end date.
For students it’s the end of the semester, for workers the end of the week, in business the end of the quarter, and for all of us the end of each year — until the clock starts again.
However at a certain point the clock stops for everyone, and each minute we all move one step closer to eternity.
Eternity is a place beyond time, without end and of infinite duration, and as today’s scripture reminds us, our time on this side of a rapidly diminishing clock is running out, and it is time to wake up to the reality about God’s salvation that will take you beyond time into HIS ETERNITY.
Friend, this is indeed URGENT. You are being invited to God’s freely offered salvation — and No Pun Intended — this truly is the ultimate 'Limited Time Offer' and once it passes, it passes.
Will you make a decision in this hour about salvation, or will you let your time expire without making a choice?

As we have been GIVEN GRACE we can show and GIVE GRACE to others in many simple, meaningful ways:
Grace through a MEANINGFUL TOUCH:Isaac blessed Jacob in Genesis 27:26 saying to him, “Come here, my son, and kiss me.” Through the God-given gift of touch, we can show love and care towards others.
Grace through SPEAKING A GOOD WORD: to those around us. Think about it – just as you would like to hear good thoughts spoken to you, return that same grace to a friend or stranger. My friend, we need to remember that graceful words need to be spoken.
Grace by how much we VALUE OTHERS: God shows us to Value His grace – not because we’ve done anything to earn it – but because He loves us so much. When we bless others, then part of our job is to encourage them in their life’s journey and help them see and find God’s plan for them.
Showing Grace is an Active Commitment that involves not only the blessing, but the responsibility that goes with praying for those whom God has put on your heart. Granted, sometimes it may not always be easy to show grace, and may even be painful in some circumstances, but as we have been freely given the Gift of Grace, so Give it to Others.
May the Grace of the Lord Bless You and Keep You Safe In The Palm Of His Hand in 2023...And SHARE your GRACE with others!
