Lore Olympus Fans Are Going To HATE This
lore Olympus fans are going to HATE this
APOLLO. DID. NOT. RAPE. PERSEPHONE. IN. THE. MYTHS. Rachel did that for her horribly unfinished plot, and because all of y’all have never read actual Greek myths you have immediately bombarded even the APOLLO FROM GREEK MYTH WIKI saying that he raped Persephone. Never happened. I’ve seen so many people get hate for liking Apollo, the MYTH Apollo, because your Rachel Smythe’s self insert webtoon comic said so. i’m done. I was fine with people liking Lore Olympus but the heavy backlash, online hate, and cyber bullying that happens because of this self-insert pussyphone fanfic that completely altered Greek myths says that Apollo “miehmiehmieh”. The only “lore” you know is Lore Olympus.

Sorry but it's true :(
I just want cool assassination fight scene dude and it's not there anymore (miss my boy moxxie)

Views are lower than ever. Helluva Boss used to get over ten million views in a day or two. Despite the "imp assassins plotline would get stale" (not true + cope + as if constant annoying melodrama doesn't get draining and stale lightning quick) bs that the stolitz echo chamber likes to parrot at people with critical thinking, it's clear that the shift to DRAMedy has caused Helluva Boss to nosedive at terminal velocity towards irrelevancy.
They wasted the fun concept of a ragtag group of lower class hellborn demons being hitmen-for-hire for bitter sinners- growing closer and confronting their traumas as a found family while on their missions- while also battling the systematic obstacles they face as the lowest classes of demons in Hell.
These plot elements are mere blips that are either rushed to oblivion or completely ignored in order to make more room for the stolitz soap opera.
Hate to break it to some of y'all, but shows (cartoons especially) gravitating from wacky comedy with character arcs sprinkled throughout to melodrama that has nothing to offer but "sad moments", crumbs of lore, and shipping slop has been done to death since the early 2010's. Nobody wants that shit anymore because it's overdone and exhausting to sit through, especially when the comedy bits aren't even funny.
an american posts "do we wanna fuck brits because afj is dating england or is afj dating england bc we wanna fuck brits" and starts an entire discourse
which leads to a massive debate about who infected who with wanting to fuck a brit "because this is ABSOLUTELY a disease, guys, i once watched a one hour loop of colin firth coming out of the water in pride and prejudice" + "unrelated but can i blame my attraction to thick eyebrows on afj too" + "i'd love a rich older man who treats me like his sugar baby, this is DEFINITELY an afj acquired trait"
of course everyone involved ignores the (probably canadian) voices of reason who point out its been proven over and over again that nations don't influence citizens and vice versa
Sometimes drawing on phones are annoying so I just use gacha for my ocs and it's 100% faster and easier than ai

if y’all see this floating around: yes, it’s from me, and yes, you can find the original post on hoyolab under the same user <3
Now I've seen a ton of you asking why people (like me) ship Ribbun
I have 2 words for you Character. Development.
A common criticism I see of the ship is that Jax bullies Gangle, which is understandable, but let me make this clear: I don't ship them in a "boy bullies girl because he secretly likes her" way. I ship them in a "Jax is an emotionally stunted person with unhealthy coping mechanisms, such as acting like a jerk to distance himself from others, and he needs to get his shit together" kind of way. Jax is waist deep in denial about caring for other people and doesn't allow himself to feel certain emotions or form relationships with others. He'd rather make them hate him so he doesn't have to go through the pain of losing them/they won't feel bad when he abstracts one day. Obviously this cycle is harmful to himself and to others, and at some point Jax has to realize that what he's doing isn't the way to go. And what better way to make him finally realize that than to give him a wake up call with the person who deals with his shit the most— Gangle. I want Gangle to snap at him one day. I want her to stand up to him. I want her to yell and scream and call him out on his behavior. I want Jax to be ridden with guilt and remorse and realize just how much his actions have affected her, himself, and others. I want Jax to take responsibility. I want him to face his issues and accept the consequences of what he's done. I want him to buckle down and put in the effort to be a better person and make things right with Gangle despite knowing nothing will ever make up for the damage he's done, not because he wants her to forgive him, but because she deserves better and he KNOWS that. I want Gangle and Jax to come to an understanding. I want them to gradually build a better relationship with each other. I want them to slowly open up to one another as they spend more time together. I want Jax to allow himself to be vulnerable around someone and express his true feelings. I want Gangle to gain more confidence as she spends time with Jax and grow as a person as well, one step at a time. I want them to give each other strength and face their demons together. Not everything is fixed with a love confession. Jax's actions aren't magically forgiven, it doesn't make everything okay. I want Jax to earn it. THIS IS WHY I SHIP RIBBUN If people can ship him with Pomni or Ragatha or anyone else, then shipping him with Gangle should be accepted too. Gangle isn't the only one that gets picked on by Jax, he does that with everyone, you just see it more prominently with Gangle in the pilot. Also not all ships need to be pure and good. Some ships are interesting because it's like watching a train wreck.
And really, this ship isn't that much different from a typical "enemies to lovers" story.
