So I know I haven't posted much so far, but I'm just getting started, and another way I thought to get some traction and get situated is to post my ko-fi on here in case any one of you kind souls ever wanted to give me a lil extra something just to help me out or in return for a commissioned poem, sketch, idea, script, crochet piece don't count on that last one, or any other creative thing you might find yourself in need of.

I've been in a creative rut the last week and havent really been working on much of anything. I think the thought of trying and failing something is too much for me a lot of the time, but I'm trying to overcome that by posting this here and hopefully many more blogs. This is my way of forcing myself back into creativity regardless of anything I might consider a failure, because nothing will ever be made if I don't try. I'd appreciate any support you all would give me in the form of reblogs, comments or likes, anything to support me in trying to take back my creative reigns from the thoughts that have been holding me back. I am writing to ask you to consider sharing a petition. I don't know how far the story has spread, but a non-binary high schooler in Oklahoma (where i live) named Nex Benedict was killed as a result of an attack at Owasso High School two weeks ago. They were attacked on school property.

The state of Oklahoma School Superintendent, Ryan Walters, who has spent his tenure focused on book bans, villainizing teachers, fighting "the woke agenda," and whatever will get him on Fox news. As a part of this he has formed partnerships with the Moms for Liberty and Libs of Tiktok person, Chaya Raichik.

All of these actions include a near constant barrage of attacks on the lgbtqia community. As an lgbtqia person myself, with kids who are also part of the community, including non-binary children, i am incredibly saddened by Nex's death, and worried about the safety of my own children in this state.

It's just a petition and i know the impact feels limited. It feels small to me, but i would like to ask you to share it in the hopes that it might bring some news coverage and open talks in this state about removing this public official for the good of the community.

Hold Ryan Walters responsible for his role in Nex Benedict's death

I've been working on my filet crochet bunny blanket today! I really am happy with the beautiful yarn I chose and I'm proud of myself for pushing through my creative slump and force myself to work on something I know I'll be proud of. And honestly, I'm proud of myself. Also, I was at work today just thinking and came up with this line; "Just because we breath the same air, does not mean we draw equal breath." I kinda love it.

my friend harmony is a disabled trans lesbian who has been homeless for almost two months now , relying solely on the kindness of strangers to make ends meet . after all this time , she’s finally caught a break – her cousin has extended an invitation to live with her and has offered to help her get a job at her place of work . this is absolutely fantastic news and i’m so so excited for harmony to get back on her feet !! 

the only issue is that her cousin lives roughly 2000 miles across the country . harmony is ready to go whenever , she just needs a little more help: she’s disabled and cannot drive for super long periods of time , so she will need to stop and stay at a hotel a few times along the way ( ~$200 ) . she also needs gas to fill up her tank ( ~$250 ) and food to eat ( ~$50 ) .

all together , she only needs about $500 to make this trip . if you can spare anything at all , please send a few dollars her way ! i know we’re all struggling , so if you can’t afford to help monetarily , please boost this post !! harmony is so so close to finally being in a stable situation again . thank you for reading !!!
