Hey! Since you're on something of a Steampunk AU art binge, I wanna know if you've ever drawn Wendy in that setting! :P (I imagine she'd be more into the grungy side of Steampunk)

Well, I did draw Wendy before but that was far more Victorian than steampunk. I’m still struggling to find a good balance between historical and fantasy... Maybe older characters could be more Victorian to show they’re from a time before the big scale industrial revolution, while younger characters go more fully steampunk?

So question, would Archibald tease Pacifica about Dipper and would the Courduroy family consider Pacifica family after they learn about Archibald

Oooh, those are some interesting questions! I'm not much of a shipper, but I'd imagine whomever Pacifica might date (Dipper, Mabel, who knows?) Archie would always be at least sliiightly overprotective. He lived in the 1800's after all so whomever want's to date her will have to take care to be a proper gentleman/lady or risk a haunting.

And I'm honestly not sure how the Courduroys would react to finding out their ancestor is looking after a Northwest. I think that'd largely be dependent on how Pacifica acts. Is she still a snobbish brat towards most people because that's what her "real" parents expect? Then they'd probably be frustrated and not understand why he's sticking around. Is she a nicer person then in canon because she grew up with actual positive reinforcement? Well then I guess she's a Courduroy now.

I love, love, all these musical hot takes. Seriously musical theatre is probably one of my favorite drama genres. Since I'm in a bit of a steampunk binge, I would like to add another Ford parallel from a seriously underrated musical; Anabelle from the Dolls of New Albion (Mad scientist who was raised by her strict father to only focus on career success to the point where she's incredibly socially crippled and desperate for human connection, eventually bringing her collage crush back from the dead and practically using him as a living emotional crutch.)

Phantom of the Opera: a story about someone young and precociously talented who gets lured into becoming the protégée of an older, manipulative being who claims to be an otherworldly friend, likes music and singing, has very distinctive frightening features that are usually hidden behind a façade and enjoys formal attire (not to mention has a dark sense of humor and enjoys sending people messages), but hides a bloodthirsty, murderous nature and has no qualms about killing others to get what he wants, or sometimes seemingly just for the fun of it, and who nearly murders the people the young talented person actually cares for.

Sweater Twins collaboration! 

There’s a couple of stories leading up to this.

Last week, I saw this post:

Well, that looked like a Mabel sweater to me!    And the idea of her making it for Ford charmed me.  As did the idea of him trying to make his hand approximate the four spikes of a thagomizer, thanks to the suggestion of @randomitemdrop​ above (i.e. the spikes on the end of a stegosaurus’s tail.  That’s… that’s what he’s trying to do, I swear. He’s concentrating on holding his fingers in four distinct spikes.  I tried it myself; taking a pic of my own hand is what I used for a photo ref, though obvs I had to insert another finger in the middle.)

Mabel’s sweater, meanwhile… I had saved this pic of an Issey Miyake sweater  (beneath the cut) about four years ago, intending to do a pic of her wearing it, because I thought it looked neat. Having decided to give Ford the stegosaurus sweater, I pulled out this other design at long last for Mabel.  (And yes, her pose was inspired by the Will Smith gesturing meme.)
