Summary:
“This is stupid.” Omega whispers mulishly from where she’s crouched down behind a box keeping watch.
“Seeing as there are many parts of our current situation that are suboptimal, you will have to clarify on what, specifically, you have issue with.” Tech says.

After being powered by steam for so long, much of the world is now facing a power crisis due to depleting fuel supplies. In the midst of this crisis, Tech and his family help as best they can to get power to those in need.
Tech knows that at some point their identities will be revealed and they’ll be wanted by the law and bounty hunters alike. What he doesn’t expect is for Omega to be the first and only one with a bounty on her head.

"Hey, Lobo! I got your parts!"
Death raised his head from the open bowels of his vessel. Puss in Boots glided in and landed beside the wolf with a flap of the leather wings Death had crafted for him. There was some beautiful irony in watching his creation come to life.
"Not as fashionable as my cape, but they’re very cool," the cat flaunted his wings. "So yes, I will help you upgrade your boat."
"Good," Death smirked. "You will be more comfortable when you ride it."
"Sure, eventually."
"How much for these parts?"
"One kiss," Puss winked. "Or thereabouts."

The Yellow Velvet was Jin’s favorite bar. Not only because the owner happened to be someone he had known in the real world, but also because drinks were always on the house for Bangtan.
"My friend,“ Seulgi had said, passing Jin a vodka soda the first night he had drank there. "Anyone who gets us out of this game, drinks for free.”
"No one’s gotten anyone out yet,“ Jin had said, before downing the drink.
"True,” Seulgi said, holding her hand out to him. “That’ll be five iron then.”
Of course she had only been kidding. Not only was Jin in the lead group, he was her friend, or at least someone who had known her before she had a robotic leg and hair orange like fire.
“Fire like the zombie and Phoenix,” she said, motioning to the TV behind Jin, the current broadcast about Bangtan.

So, sense now the brass goggles song is used for animation memes, this is a good time to make a steampunk au anyways yes sage has hinges on her and yes Shes rusting
Been getting into a bit of a Victorian era phase, and now I'm imagining some kind of Gravity Falls steampunk/gaslamp fantasy AU and just had to make some quick sketches.

Did somebody ask for more Victorian stuff? No? Oh.
Well... Have you guys heard about Victorian mourning clothes? Basically after a relative died you were supposed to wear all black for a societally mandated period to show your grief. The expected mourning period for a sibling was six months. But what if Stan just like... Doesn't stop? Like, after losing Ford he keeps it up for 30 years.
(He eventually starts wearing some dark colours [called half-mourning] after the kids have been around for a while, giving him something to distract him from the grief. But doesn't drop the black suits completely until he and Ford have made up again.)
The other outfits are unfortunately less meaningful. Although I gave Wendy a shorter dress and bloomers because apparently that was occasionally worn by women for ease of movement, and because I can't see her in a full frilly dress.
I may not know how to do dramatic shading but I refuse to be stopped. Have a steampunk Ford.

Okay so... I didn't feel like drawing. But then I sorta did anyway and I both regret everything and regret nothing.
Can't have the steampunk kids show up in Gravity Falls by buss, can we?
Trying to design some more steampunk outfits. What do you guys prefer? More genuinely Victorian or more fantastical? Or maybe her go to outfit is less realistic but her job outfit has to be more reserved?

Will my shading style ever be consistent? Probably not. @detectivejigsawpines suggested I should draw Fiddleford as the next character in the steampunk/victorian AU, and I couldn't resist adding Ford too. ^^

Hey! Since you're on something of a Steampunk AU art binge, I wanna know if you've ever drawn Wendy in that setting! :P (I imagine she'd be more into the grungy side of Steampunk)
Well, I did draw Wendy before but that was far more Victorian than steampunk. I’m still struggling to find a good balance between historical and fantasy... Maybe older characters could be more Victorian to show they’re from a time before the big scale industrial revolution, while younger characters go more fully steampunk?
Didn't feel up to making a new drawing entirely, but wanted to make some more steampunk/Victorian era stuff. So recycled some old sketches and fleshed them out. ^^

OK. This steampunk au will be the end of me 🥲 I have TOO MANY thoughts ! The colors, the expressions and stances: everything is intense and dramatic !
I feel really bad for both brothers.
Cuphead kinda makes it all about himself, and that's understandable, because losing his brother once was already too much for him. No wonder he is scared and furious now that Mugman is mortal again and is risking to die in the same conditions.
But this ain't only about him. Can you imagine how awful it must be to be brought back to life in a artificial body, to not remember your death, and not feeling alive/like yourself anymore ? The whole concept is terryfying and confusing. It must have been really hard for Mugman too. He just wanted to come back to his old self and find some peace of mind ! He couldn't really know this would upset Cuphead this much because Cuphead was unable to tell him anything.
Now, if only they had talked to each other !
