Your phone rang the second you set foot in your apartment causing you to let out a frustrated sigh, thinking it was another call from a client.

“What!” You snapped, just wanting the day to end already.

“Woah there, princess, it’s just me.” You heard Yoongi’s voice at the other end of the line.

“Yoongi.” you let out, “Please come home, with Jimin too.” You pouted although he couldn’t see you through the phone.

Summary: Yoongi doesn’t like it when his boyfriend, Hoseok, brings you around. But it’s not because he doesn’t like you, quite the opposite actually. Yoongi likes you way too much. Unknown to Yoongi, Hoseok feels the same.

Authors note: I heard the song by nct127 and I immediately had this idea for a YoonSeok poly fic so I wrote it all in one sitting. please listen to the song while you read it!

If there’s one thing for certain it’s that min Yoongi hates you. 

He hates your smile and your perfect lips that wrap over his coffee mug when he wakes on Sunday and finds you talking in your practically infuriating voice to his boyfriend. He hates it When you cross your soft looking legs at the ankle while you sit on your kitchen counter (in the exact spot that Yoongi had made love to Hoseok on last week). He hates when you act embarrassed after he snidely asks you what the fuck you’re doing here so early.

He hates when his boyfriend sighs over the edge of his own coffee mug and points out that it’s nearly one. Later Hoseok will say that it’s not your fault that Yoongi likes to sleep late or that you wanted to see your best friend on his only day off (which was also Yoongi’s only day off). He hates that you’re his boyfriend’s best friend. You’ve been in their lives for so long that if Yoongi was going to approve of your friendship with his boyfriend or make any move to be your friend himself, he would have done it by now.

Maybe it would be easier if you weren’t so beautiful. there is something about your presence that is so reassuring. Something about the way you talk that pulls Yoongi in like a riptide. maybe he could have ignored that if you weren’t so beautiful, but no you had to be gorgeous and kind. 

He can’t get close to you, won’t let himself make what would surely end up being a mistake. Min Yoongi couldn’t hate you nearly as much as he wanted to, not that he hadn’t tried. No matter how much he tried to find fault with your personality or how he tried to push you away from him, he couldn’t hate you, his heart wouldn’t let him.

Because if he knew one thing at all-it’s that he would always love you more.

Opening the door to your apartment felt awfully like letting out a tight breathe you held for way too long. You sucked in the familiarity of the walls, the smells and small noises that made your apartment a home to you like oxygen, closing the door behind you with a happy sigh. Finally.

You hung your bag by the door – noticing that Yoongi and Jungkook’s bags were already present – before taking a second to stretch your body. The traffic has gotten so bad lately that you could find yourself staying seated in your car for over an hour on your way home from work, and if this fact alone wasn’t enough, today you had a special urgency to get home as quickly as you could. You even went as far as taking some of the work home with you, just to get out of the office an hour early.

Giving your body a little shake to lessen the tension, you finally stepped inside in search of your boyfriends. You headed straight to the room where Yoongi set up a makeshift work space for himself, knowing your older boyfriend probably slipped in there from the moment he entered the apartment – he had as little time to work on his music as you had to handle the manuscripts you got with the right amount of time and professionalism.

You pulled the soundproof door open as quietly as you could, soft notes of the tone he was playing floating out of it and reaching your ears. The room was barely lit and the light from the hallway made your presence known loud and clear, yet he never budged, too engulfed in the melody he created. His fingertips flew over keys, his eyes following the motion one step at a time as if he was actually living each press of his fingers with his entire body. A smile graced your face as you leaned against the doorway, watching one of the men you loved focus on his greatest passion, creating with every fiber of his being.

Jimin sat at the dinner table, carrying on a conversation with Namjoon and Jungkook. He was trying to figure out the best way to phrase things and would come to Namjoon for assistance. You watched him from the corner of the room, a mischievous smirk on your face. Steeling yourself, you begin to head on your mission. You slip unnoticed under the tablecloth, crawling on your hands and knees over to Jimin, careful not to touch anyone else and alert them to your presence. You placed your hands on his thighs, feeling him tense and cut off his words abruptly. “You okay Jiminie?” You hear the other men ask. Jimin clears his throat. “Yes, I just… lost my train of thought for a moment.”
