I've been so exited to finish my collection! And now I even have the collector's edition!

“Are you thinking of killing me, Zoya?” 

“Yes.”

“Your king wouldn’t be pleased.”

“I’m not going to do it,” she lied. “I just enjoy thinking about it. It’s soothing, like humming myself a little melody. Besides, death is too good for you.”

“Is it?” He sounded almost curious. “What would make my atonement complete? An eternity of torture?”

“It would be a start. Though letting you live a long life without your power isn’t a bad beginning either.”

How is it that the protagonists are allowed to be cruel, vengeful, vicious, violent and aggressive, even without provocation, but when Aleksander does it he’s the great evil? It’s not like he’s the only one within the group to kill an innocent, to hurt someone in the group (Zoya earlier reminds herself she was the worst to Genya when Safin needed comfort and help) and his motivations in the actions he took were hardly selfish ones (unlike those of many protagonists we have). If Zoya can say all this (the quote) why was it wrong of Sasha to hurt Genya for her betrayal? It’s a double-edged sword.

“What is it you want now?”

“What I have always wanted, to make a safe place for the Grisha.”

“Do you think you could manage it?” she asked, echoing the Darkling’s taunt to Misha. “It’s not like you didn’t get a fair try before. Hundreds of tries.”

“If not me, then who?”

“Nikolai Lantsov. Zoya Nazyalensky.”

“Two monsters, more unnatural than anything either Morozova or I ever created.”

“I’m pretty sure I’m talking to a dead man,” said Alina. “So maybe this isn’t the time to throw stones.”

The Darkling’s shackles clinked. “They are children, barely able to understand themselves or this world. I am—”

“Yes, we know, eternal. But right now, you’re a man without a scrap of power sitting in a house full of ghosts. Zoya has been fighting for years to keep the Grisha safe. She rebuilt the Second Army from the tatters you left behind. Nikolai has unified the First and Second Armies in a way never seen in Ravka’s history. And what about the innovations of Genya Safin and David Kostyk?”

The Darkling looked only bemused. “If Ravka is so strong, why is Fjerda attacking? Why are the wolves at the door once more? Do you really believe these cubs can lead a nation?”

“Safety for the Grisha. A united Ravka. What if they are the ones to give this dream to us? Why does it have to be you? Why do you have to be the savior?”

“I am the man best suited to the job.”

And from what we see, Sasha is fucking right. Alina lists all of this, and yet, Ravka is on the edge of collapsing on itself. It’s in the worst state since probably right after the Fold. They [Nikolai, Zoya etc.] are all barely experienced children guided by emotions, who would sacrifice a nation to hold on to the false morality they carry around like a piece of armour from any criticism. 

Did Aleksander lose his shit? Yes. But honestly, he’s the lesser evil, for sure better leader than Vasily or previous Tsar were, and more in control of himself than Nikolai and Zoya combined. He is the one who’s able to make hard decisions, who is ready to accept his role as a villain and a monster if that’s the price of achieving his goal.

… so, let’s get this started. i am going to make this clear from the beginning: i don’t write smut/lemon! (mainly because I don’t know how). if you don’t like dark content (angst, pain …) in mangas, novels and other literature, don’t follow.

i love writing dark content or a little more twisted things, so if you are sensitive considering such topics, please read the warnings before every story. i try my best to write warnings infront of every chapter, one shot etc. that i make, so please read those beforehand and take them serious.

i do not tolerate hate on my or other writers work, however criticism is always welcomed as long as it is written friendy and polite. of course praise is also appreciated. i also like it when people tell me their opinion on their requested writes (one shots etc.) that i finished. so do not be afraid to write me or post replies, write comments etc.! :)

you should all know by now that english is not my native language, so please excuse any grammer mistakes or write me in a friendly way so i can correct them. i only speak english, german and a little bit spanish, so please inform me of any mistakes that i have made while using another language that i don’t know and simply translated through a programm (for example, a phrase actually being really insulting).

as i have said before, if you are sensitive please do not follow me, since i write about dark content based on trauma etc. so i advice you to read the warnings on each piece of my work before actually reading it, because i also write different stuff as well.
