I can't quite write well so this will be a re-posting of the twitter thread, typing is difficult at the moment post work injury, sorry :(

I need about 230 eur to cover what im missing for rent this 5th, the total is 470 and i can cover the rest but i cant get that final pinch to make through.

Im legit at my limit im severely disabled and working myself to the bone, literally today i crushed my forearm carrying shit i barely could and i got it stuck between the door and my arm and i can hardly move from the pain (image of the injury, it's a very large hematoma in my forearm.)

I cant make days end most of the time and im being exploited severely I need help, im sorry to ask like this

But im genuinely desperate now Please share if you can, i can hardly use my arms to draw and i have so much art on my queue that I've had to take out of desperation to survive and I'll be slowly chipping through but if you're okay with waiting i can work on art for you.

To put it shortly for now, we got the installer to set up our new filter, heater and gas head and it works! We were overjoyed and so happy. But once he was done, we were told by the friend he was sent by he'd charge 30-40 bucks

To my absolute shock he pulled out a calculator and gave me a receipt, he said it was 80 an hour and he was there two hours. We barely get by so we had to run to the bank to pay him 160 to cover the money. Between me and my mother, who now stand on the negatives both of us

We were told it was gonna be 40 at most and upon telling him he played dumb and said that well he doesn't really know us so yeah Now we're on the negatives both of us. The old heater now in the new one's box and the new one, installed, to prove its now there and working

This is an awful situation and im desperate, Im hitting a pit of despair in regards to the constantly never ending situations surrounding me on needing support Im sorry that this keeps happening i don't have anything else Im sorry

we're currently sitting about 200 in the negatives, rounding it up to around 210-215 to cover the ko-fi and paypal fees to send it off to my bank account.

TLDR; Our water heater is broken beyond repair and we were scammed out of 700 euros for it. we need 310 to repair the damage done and the heater, gas intake and filter for our water intake. We currently can't use the water as it's started to give a strong bleachy and chlorine like smell and taste and we fear for our health if we were to use it to wash ourselves or use it for cooking.

Hi, my name is grim, i'm a disabled artist that's trying to gather money to fix my water heater and water filter. our building is really old and i mean, OLD.

to the point a lot of the house's repairs have come from our pocket because it was starting to fall on us. things from lightbulbs blowing up to literally having a ceiling fan fall on me because the wires were so old they literally crumbled off along the rust on the screws being so bad it added to it, so you get an idea.

we still somehow get by okay most of the time! but this time..

we were scammed by an 'installer' to set our water heater as the previous one was so old it literally too, just busted. so this person installed one and we were charged 700 euros. the man not only was extremely anxious the entire time but hasty, too hasty. we thought he was in a rush and payed no mind but things started to go weird when he had nothing to give us a receipt or a number to call him if the heater gave us any issues. we let him go thinking it was just someone that was tight on schedule but to our demise, the heater was not only faulty, it was broken. yes it worked for the first two months! but then it started to fail. we thought it was just the building's old crap as always but no, this week it literally busted off the wall because the internal pressure caused it to bust open. it spilled the internals from the bottom and the front pannel literally came off with the loudest bang i've heard.

We're two heavily disabled people with no income living in this house and the cold water along the fact it's not safe to drink or use is doing a number on us. if you could please share or donate, it'd mean a lot. thank you for taking the time to read, it means a lot.
