Between the Ruins and Memories 🌊🏚️
On the shores of Gaza, where the horizon stretched endlessly, Khalil lived a life that seemed stable and secure. From his house overlooking the sea, he could hear the sound of crashing waves harmonizing with the sounds of the life he built through hard work and years of effort. 🏠💔 His studies in university as a sound engineer were a gateway to a promising future; his work in renting out large sound equipment used for parties and major events was his source of income, and the residential building he inherited from his father housed many families, ensuring a decent life for his own. 🎶🎤
But, in a single moment, everything changed. 🌪️
Complete Destruction 🏚️💥
The war came like a storm, leaving nothing but ruin in its wake. The home that was considered a refuge for the family turned into rubble. The sound equipment that once spread joy throughout the city was silenced forever under the debris. The residential building, which was a continuous source of income, collapsed as if it had never existed.
Today, Khalil, along with his wife Omnia and their children Nasser, Adam, and Bara’a, live in a small tent in the southern sector, where there is no safety or stability. ⛺🔥 The tent offers no protection from the scorching heat of the day or the biting cold of the night. Hunger and thirst have become constant guests at their empty table, and the children’s eyes search their father’s face for answers: “When will we go back home?” 🥺🍽️ But the home is no longer there.
Growing Despair 😔💔
Each passing day becomes harder than the last. Khalil feels the weight of responsibility crushing him, yet he has nothing to offer his family. Hunger gnaws at their health, and fear eats away at their souls. How can he tell his children that the life they knew is gone forever? How can he face their looks when they ask him about food, and he has little to give?
Omnia, his wife, stands beside him in this bitter struggle, but she, too, suffers in silence. She tries her best to soothe the children and reassure them, but deep down, she knows the future is uncertain and frightening. 👩👧👦🕊️

Yet Khalil does not give up. He refuses to succumb to pain, searching for a glimmer of hope in this darkness. How I miss home and how much I wish I could get out to safety with my children and suffer enough💔😭🇵🇸❤️🩹
I always think about our home, which we left eleven months ago, how sad it is without us. It has become accustomed to us as we have become accustomed to it, witnessed our joys and sorrows, witnessed all the stages of our lives❤️🩹💔😭.
I felt like my house was alive! I believe that homes have souls just like us. Since we had to flee our home, he has been lonely. He doesn't hear our voices. I don't hear my key when I come home from work late in the evening. My wife's voice is not heard while she is working in her kitchen. My children's faint snores are not heard as they sleep. Their playing is not heard, the sound of our usual laughter is absent. He doesn't even hear our loud voices when we fight!
Now he is a pile of stones, and all he hears is the annoying noise of planes and the constant bombing.
I always wonder how he is doing. Does he miss us as we miss him? His loneliness hurts me, just as our distance from him hurts me..🇵🇸❤️🩹🙏.
Although I have hope! As my campaign progresses, I feel I am getting closer to getting out of Gaza with your help. I often imagine that we left Gaza and say, “We have finally reached safety!” We will return to our normal lives! I don't want us to die waiting for our exit from Gaza. Please help us get out of Gaza... Our last hope of survival is collapsing. The campaign is moving very slowly. Asking for help every time is embarrassing and uncomfortable, but I feel like I have no choice but to do it again. I would like to tell you that I am from Gaza, where we now live under bombs, explosives, warplanes, from which we cannot sleep for many nights, and other things. This war has destroyed our bodies, our lives and our souls. It destroyed our homes, robbed us of everything, destroyed all places, changed all landmarks, and changed our situation for the worse. We used to live a life of dignity, peace, and love of life, and now we live in hunger, fear, and terror, me, my children, and the rest of my family. We do not have the minimum necessities of life, and we live in very dilapidated tents. We don't know how to react when winter comes upon us. We will drown in the rain and the wind, and I will not know how to protect my children or my family, neither from the bombing nor from the winter. So please help me so that I, my children and my family can live and survive this hideous war.
I turn to you with my broken heart, asking for help from God and from you. We are on the cusp of a harsh winter, and I live in a tent that does not provide protection from the scorching summer heat or the harsh winter cold. Imagine the rain falling, the wind howling, and here we are in Gaza, without shelter, without a roof to protect us, shivering from the cold, struggling every night to survive.

Helping Ahmed's Family: Escaping War to a New Life
I am Ahmed Alanqer, a 35-year-old Palestinian man from Gaza. My life revolved around my small family: my wife Dina and our four children: Zeina, Eileen, Yamen, and finally, Ronza, who was born amidst the shelling just a month ago.
My story is a cry from the heart of hell. The war on Gaza began, bringing with it destruction that engulfed everything around us.
Our home, which was our only refuge and safe haven, turned into a pile of rubble. We were forced to flee south in search of safety, but what we found there was even harsher.
In the south, we found only suffering and hardship. No shelter, no water, no food. We moved between Nuseirat and Deir al-Balah, searching for a safe haven for our children, but we found only shelling and destruction. My wife Dina was pregnant, yet we found no hospitals or medical services to monitor her condition. My children fell ill with measles, chickenpox, and hepatitis, with no one to treat them.
My children grow under the scorching sun inside cramped tents, where life forces them to endure intense heat and mosquitoes. Life there is not just life; it's a sea of daily challenges, facing shortages in everything from clean water to basic healthcare.They deserve to be in a safe place, away from the constant fear of airstrikes and harsh weather conditions. They need support and assistance to regain their innocence and live a dignified childhood.
Let's stand by them, support them in every way we can, because helping them today is an investment in their future and ours too.
Life here has become an endless nightmare. I lost my source of income; my job as an accountant and the company I worked for were destroyed, and my recently imported goods vanished under the rubble. We are left without income, without hope, without a future. Each passing day feels like we are inching closer to the abyss.
My goal now is to save my children. I want them to have a better life, where they can go to school, receive medical care, drink clean water, and live in safety. But the cost of travel is exorbitant. $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, and I am unable to secure these amounts.

Hello, I am Muhammad hilles from Gaza. I am 21 years old. I study engineering at Al-Azhar University in the fourth level. My family and I have been displaced for 11 months in a tent without the basic necessities of life. The water is polluted, everyone is exposed to diseases, and there are no clean bathrooms or electricity. My house was bombed and all my childhood memories were gone. Now we are homeless, my university was bombed, and now I can't continue my education and my life. We are 8 people, and I can't imagine my life losing anyone from my family as a result of the barbaric bombing of the Gaza Strip. Throughout the war, we suffer from fear, panic, and all forms of torture and brutality. We also lost the only source of income that supported us. Help me survive this inhumane war and get me and my family out of Gaza.
Every dollar donated will make a difference and will be a glimmer of hope in this path full of humiliation, hunger, and oppression.
