Help a disabled woman to keep her utilities on!!
Wednesday, July 24th: Happy disability pride month, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to keep my utilities on and pay off my overdrawn account!!
I apologize for asking for help again, but as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and outstanding debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.
Thanks to that kindness, I have managed to pay my rent arrears, and overdue debt but a few bills slipped through leaving my account overdrawn, and I am still struggling to keep my utilities on and get groceries. I don't receive my welfare until the 31st and could use some help.
I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much.

Tuesday, November 30th: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill disaster, who is in desperate need of help as I'm struggling to pay my rent, and I don't receive my welfare until just after Christmas.
As most of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling financially these past few months due to my welfare benefit (Universal Credit) being under a review, which is due to my worsening mental health and the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And at the moment, I'm currently struggling to get by, as my application for Disability (PIP) was declined and due to Covid, I have been waiting almost a year for an appointment for a WCA (Work Capability Asessment) from the DWP to assess my mental and physical health, and due to this, my debt from overdue bills is piling up.
I know this is a huge ask, and I'm completely heartbroken to be asking for help again, but I still urgently need some as I don't receive my welfare until after Christmas (December 27th) and I desperately need to pay my utilities and get groceries for Christmas. My rent is £300 + utilities/bills - £200.
Additionally I have a CHRISTMAS WISHLIST, some items are just silly wishes, but some stuff like dog food and blankets are essential for the winter, and I would appreciate it if anyone could have a look. Otherwise, my goal to get through Christmas and New Year is now £500-£600!! (please don't recommend reddit as I'm already trying there)
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. The Iranian protesters being called Islamophobic is like when black people of America stand up for themselves and are called anti-white. Not all Muslims in Iran are against freedom and many of them are actually standing with the protesters the way not all white people in America are white. but the protest is against those who are using their religion as a tool to shut others down and beat them into submission.
The people of Iran shouldn’t have to be Muslims and abide by Islamic rules to alive.
There is also the fact that not all Muslim believe and abide by all the rules. Not all Muslim women wear hijabs so if this was really about Islam, those people would be safe, which is absolutely not the case. Religion is a very personal thing, and should not be forced upon people.
Hijab may be a sign of religious freedom in the west but in Iran, for most people Hijab has become a uniform of oppression.
Many people are warping what these protests that are now happening in Iran stand for. Just know that the real reason they are happening is because the police of Iran Brutality murdered a 22 year old girl who was wearing the most normal version of the hijab that Iranian women wear.

Hey guys. So I've been dealing with medical issues. I have had GERD for some time and they recently scheduled me an endoscopy and during it they biopsied some stuff to test for Celiac's Disease.
I haven't gotten the results from that fully yet but I have been in a lot of pain and sick these last few days and due to that, I've missed 3 days of work. Unfortunately, that means I need help in order to get the money needed to pay rent, get groceries, and get the cat food to feed my cats.
If anybody is about to help and spare even the smallest amount, I just need about 300 to 350. That would cover what I lost from work and then make sure I have enough to get cat food for my babies along with my rent.

Hi, my name is Bilal, I'm from Gaza 🇵🇸. After 150 days of bombing and siege, I had to leave. I now live in Egypt with part of my family, while most of my loved ones stayed in Gaza ❤️. Even though I'm here, I feel like a part of me is still there, connected to my land and my people 🍉🇵🇸.
