I had this cute idea that when Gregory turns either 14 or something Vanessa manages to get him a internship at silver parasol and he’s absolutely great at it, I can see him talking to little kids visiting and teaching them about the stuff he does such as game testing and coding, meanwhile Vanessa’s watching thinking to herself (my little boys all grown up).

This is absolutely adorable, and I love it! I think you should share this with loads more people

Hello all! I have some fun robot related news to share. Last weekend I went to Build Fight Fun in Tallahassee and GOT FIRST PLACE WITH FLUORINE!!!

I honestly did not expect this at all, I figured Fluorine would go 3-2 at best and lose in spectacular fashion. I don't really have the words to describe how happy I am about this.

I've been working on Fluorine in various forms for over 3 years, and it makes me happy to finally see the robot performing as well as it has been.

Idk where this came from but I feel like Vanessa is one of those people who when she was little was a sucker for educational and creative puppet shows like Sesame Street or the Muppets, and even as an adult she still finds it entertaining and feels out while other people think she’s a bit weird for it but she doesn’t care.

Guess what? After the unparalleled success of Vanweek2024, I have decided to hold a mini event in order to celebrate Vanessa's commonly agreed upon birthday of September 7th.

It will run from September 5th thru the 7th!

The rules for this week are practically identical to Vanweek for the most part. There are several different prompts everyday, but you DO NOT have to do them all.

In fact, you DO NOT have to try and do a prompt everyday if you do not want to. If you want to make something for just 1 day, that is perfectly fine. Feel free to do whatever you would like with the prompts. The only thing each creation needs to have is Vanessa/Vanny!

This event, like the last one, is meant to be a fun experience for all involved, which means that works should try not to include anything considered taboo. If your work includes any phobias or extreme gore, PLEASE be sure to tag appropriately.

You are also not restricted to doing just art or writing, other mediums are allowed.

When you do make something, be sure to include the day it is for as well as whether it's for the WORD or THEME in the tags or description. This will make archival and future viewing of these works easier.

Be sure to tag your work (if possible) with "vanessabirthday2024" and tag this account @vanweek2024

Also try not to release whatever you've made until the respective "day" (i.e. release a story made for day 2 on day 2, no later, no earlier)

Any work released on AO3 will be archived on this collection as well.
