Au Where Kurogiri Looks At What He Really Wants And Not What Afo Wants And Find That It's 'look After
au where kurogiri looks at what he really wants and not what afo wants and find that it's 'look after tomura, make him happy, raise him as i have been doing his whole life' and then defect. tomura and kurogiri would have a confrontationw here tomura is forced to chose between afo and kuro and he stays with afo. kuro goes to the heroes, not because he's suddenly a good guy, but because they can take down afo and hopefully save tomura. (maybe so oboro angst? aizawa and hizashi trying to deal w the fact that their dead friend was used to make a noumu, kurogiri not caring at all and just wanting to save tomura).
then we see tomura's perspective, struggling without kurogiri and realising how little afo cares about him. afo only sees him as a means to an end while kurogiri treated him like his own son. so tomura breaks free of afo's control and tries to rectify things w kuro and realises that he wasn't doing anything to expose the corruption in the heroes to the world, only building them up as saints. and afo let him. afo let him fall astray from what he wanted.
so things keep happening. kuro is on the heroes side, using them to save tomura w/o realising tomura has already left with the gang and afo is stuck with random pawns. tomura is trying to reach kuro but the heroes don't realise he's defected and keep trying to take him down bc kuro hasn't been honest about his desire to save tomura.
finally. after being separated for so long, tomura and kuro reunite and tomura says that he's sorry he didn't go with kuro and he didn't see how afo didn't care about him as kuro always did. then kuro just says he's happy tomura found his own way and that he raised a good person, (bc in this au tomura doesn't realise afo is using him and genuinely believes he's doing good and exposing the corrupt system).
magne is still alive in this au bc i said so and i love her, and she's quietly wiping a tear at the family reunion and they all run away to be vigilantes who actually expose 'fake' heroes like stain but better, which spinner, dabi and toga love. the villains don't all die but aren't immediately forgiven.
i dunno, i just think kuro as an uncle iro figure would be really cool and tomura was done dirty by horikoshi

Hello there 👋 @islamgazaaccount3 Islam, a physical therapist, 27-year-old, is living in Gaza without any form of shelter or safety for himself and his family of 6 including his 85 years old grandfather who lost a hand from a prior Israeli bombing, and is barely able to perform everyday tasks due to a lack of clean water to wash his hand with. Their home was demolished by a bombing from the Israeli occupation. While shelter is crucial, they also urgently need food and water. All of their necessities were taken away. Islam's blog has been restricted for the third time. He tried sharing a donation link, but with limited followers, it wasn't reaching enough people. Thankfully, he created a GoFundMe account, making it easier for those who want to help, but he is still extremely low on funds. Please consider sharing Islam's story and donating to his GoFundMe. Even a small contribution can make a big difference in their time of need. 🙏❤️ you can find Islam's story here 👉 https://gofund.me/08ed0b8c This fundraiser has been verified by @90-ghost @northgazaupdates2 @riding-with-the-wild-hunt @mushroomjar

Character: *speaks in a different language* Oh, whoops, sorry! It's hard to switch back sometimes!
Me: Ew, no, stop that. That's not how that works
-
Bi/Multilingual characters consciously switch between languages, unless they've been afflicted mentally, such as being delirious or running on a dangerously high fever. Please, if you're including a bi/multilingual character and want to intergrate that naturally into your story, just do a bit of research.
Reddit gives a lot of advice, as well as tumblr and maybe TikTok if you find the right side of it.
Bi/multilingual characters are only really likely to switch languages mid-sentence if there's a specific word that doesn't translate exactly to the general language. Even then, it's not likely that they'll instantly switch.
They may also switch languages for specific idioms or phrases that aren't common in the general language or just don't translate well at all.
Troubles with language: if they forget a word in the general language, they're likely to just go 'that thing' or try to describe it until someone else finds the word for them. Sometimes, they'll know the word in another language but not the general one. In most cases, if they can't remember the word in the moment, they'll remember it later and slap themselves in the face.
The more languages a character speaks, the more likely they are to forget words. Also, it's incredibly hard to become fluent in a language unless you interact with others speaking the same language. Colloquisms and such are hard to pick up on unless speaking and interacting with natives or that specific culture.
Some letters/characters are incredibly hard to pronounce properly unless you've been corrected on them multiple times and actually taught them by natives, though they most likely don't care about butchered pronounciation, unless it's a specific dialect. In that case, some might find it insulting.
I'm not bilingual or multilingual, so if you want proper advice, go to those reddit pages or tumblr posts that are actually written by people who are. Still, all this advice I've given is from my own research for my fanfics.
Seeing authors abuse google translate and go, 'yay, representation!', is very frustrating, especially because it relies on stererotypes and thus diminishes the representation. It happens more often than not, and that's really sad because you can make bilingual/multilingual troubles so funny.
Forgetting a word so you just shrug and start a new conversation because it's easier than trying to figure out what the word is. Swearing in another language so children don't pick it up, only for them to also speak that language. Speaking in a different language just to annoy everyone else who doesn't understand.
There's a lot of potential for comedy with this, but not when it's 'oops, it's hard to switch back/I get confused sometimes.' And, no. They do not switch when excited. It's a conscious decision, unless they're really, really out of it.
I love how Ed has canonically met God and is still a massive athiest
I made an account for my Voltron Rewrite. Check it out below!
(Just reblogged this at @sapphic-agent's blog, so if this seems familiar, that's why)
"We're Not Friends Kacchan" by Winds Carry Far is a really good Bakugou-Bashing fic, where All Might is depicted as a good teacher, while Aizawa is called out for being a terrible one who enabled Bakugou's behaviour. Highly recommend.
Another fic they made is called "Reality Check", where Shinsou is the one called out. Aizawa is, again, called out for being a terrible teacher, and All Might as being supportive. Another great read.
They both have TvTrope pages, though they're not exactly reliable, considering it calls both Shinsou and Bakugou as OOC even thought they're really not.
"Please Erase Eraserhead's Biases" by Beerus is also a Shinsou-bashing fic, which Aizawa is also called out on and All Might is not. Another good read.
In the "to be better" series by bia95, the first fic, "to be bitter, to be kind", has less bashing and more of a critique on Shinsou. As it's a discussion between Nedzu and Shinsou, Aizawa and All Might are not mentioned. The third fic in the series, "to be angry, to be safe", bashes on Bakugou. It acknowledges that he was raised by a shitty school but he still needs to be punished. The series is only three works in, but it is going really well thus far.
"Abuse of Power" by ACoolUsername85 is another good Shinsou-bashing fic, where Aizawa is portrayed as a shit teacher. It's centred around Ojirou, who was absoultely done dirty by the fandom, who tries to get along with Shinsou, but he's just a raging asshole.
Those are a few fics that I find myself re-reading. Give em a read if you want to see content like this :)
Do you read fanfictions? If so, can you tell me your favourite fics where Bakugou severely faces consequences, Aizawa and Shinsou's BS being called, and Izuku getting the love and support he deserves? Thanks❤️❤️❤️
I do read fanfiction however it's been quite a while since I stumbled into a fic that properly punished aizawa, bakugo and shinsou or at least criticised them while giving Izuku justice.
That being said I think that @anartisicandautisticstararcher rewrite has potential and you should read it when it is released. I have also seen quite a few rewrite MHA blogs around so I think it would be better asking them for fic recommendations.
@mikeellee also has fics criticising bakugo, aizawa and shinsou.
If anyone has fic recommendations do feel free to reblog or comment them down below
