Omggggggg yessss, that was one of the main things I was really excited to see and it wasn’t there. I was like nooooo, and then had to proceed to explain to my mom after we saw the film what happened in the play with Connor and why they skipped that song…and you get an earlier context clue that makes you go 😱 about the fact Evan didn’t fall out of the tree.

Anyway I can’t wait to watch Dear Evan Hansen the movie with someone who’s also seen the musical so we can just mutually be like “WHERES DISAPPEAR WHERES GHOST CONNOR WHAT IS HAPPENING”

I wanna ask: for that madney video what software/app are you using??

I’m currently using Blender to edit the video, which is completely free to use and download. It gets the job done for me, although the lag can be insane, but it is definitely better than previous apps I’ve downloaded where you have to pay, there is a watermark, or the app just isn’t advanced enough for my liking. I do wish there was more affects than what I’ve found so far, because I literally just re-discovered this app last week and now I’m trying to learn everything about it, but I’ve just been downloading my own moving backgrounds from YouTube and inserting them in, which you saw in the video, then adding a screen, lighten, or add affect so the actual 9-1-1 clip can be seen. (You can mess with opacity too.)

You may also use Blender for animations, sculpting, VFX, and I believe even to make video games, on top of video editing.

I know you only asked what app I was using, but just in case you didn’t know what it was I wanted to give you some insight! 😁
