People are starting to try to understand the Buckley parents and I might - and that's a huuuuge might - see Maddie's point of them being bad parents, but not necessarily bad people concerning what they did to Buck. It was still messed up, but the 'worst' they did was neglect him, which is still a huuuuuge fat no-go, but maybe understandable with what happened to Daniel. Maybe. Grief does make you make huge mistakes.

But Maddie?? Whatever the fuck those dickheads did, made her feel like it's better to stay with her abusive husband than tell her parents that she has made a mistake with him?? Like what the fuck??

That's why I personally think that they are equally bad parents and bad people. Seriously. Even in 4x04, the things they said (Waiting so long to have a child, finally finding a good man), made it very obvious that they believe Doug was Maddie's fault. And that's fucking messed up.

So yeah: Fuck them.

I actually haven’t even watched the recent episode of 9-1-1, but I love how I keep scrolling down my feed and continue to spoil things for me and now I’m a little nervous to watch it lol...
