For the majority of this episode I was following some whacked out shampoo instructions:

"OMG!" "Holy shit!" Repeat.

After it was over though, the one thing that kept running through my head was: 

I can't be the only one who's noticed that every time Mary kisses Bash she looks pretty miserable. Not once has she kissed him and looked happy like she did when she was with Francis. If that doesn't tell you something, then I honestly don't know what will.

My Reactions to 1x12 and 1x13

To 1x12 (better know as the ep. with all the Mash and Frola): 

I mean I get why everyone's acting the way they are and all. I truly do. But do we really have to?

To 1x13 (better known as the ep. that made my heart explode):

First, there was a lot of this.

And this.

Then, it turned into a bucket full of this.

Finally, I pulled a Nick Miller and stopped functioning altogether.

It was always Finn’s story. Back in 4x01 when we had no idea what was going on, when Finn disappeared from the show for three full episodes and didn’t return to Lima until even after that, New New Directions was already Finn’s story. When we were complaining that the newbies were slightly-altered or remixed clones of Old New Directions, that was the setup for Finn’s story. Finn was supposed to see himself and his friends in those kids, and help them make better friendships and better choices than his group had, and he was supposed to find himself in the process. […] But with Finn gone, it was nothing deeper than what we saw: It was a show (New York) and another show (Lima) existing side by side and barely interacting with each other. […] And it’s sad. God, it’s sad. Even if you never liked New New Directions, it’s sad to see McKinley go. […] When those kids leave McKinley, it’ll be like the last of him leaving too. [x]

FINN: They need you.

MR. SCHUE: No, they need a leader. Someone with vision, believes in them. Someone who understands how to win, but also that winning is not more important than doing the right thing, taking care of each other. Someone who’s really good at making kids’ dreams come true.

He will always be my favorite.
